I don't really think the whole setlist has to be changed. You can just swap out a few songs. These are the songs i want to hear live

21st Century Breakdown

Know Your Enemy

Bang bang

East Jesus Nowhere

Viva La Gloria

Give me novocaine

Longview

Welcome to Paradise

When i come around

Brain Stew

Hitchin a ride

Minority

Waiting

Going to pasalacqua

Basket case

Christie road

Letterbomb

Holiday

Boulevard of broken dreams

Restless heart syndrome

Are we the waiting

St jimmy

Still Breathing

Forever now

American idiot

Jesus of Suburbia

We are the champions

Acoustic:

Whatsername

Wake me up when september ends

21 guns

Good Riddance

Yeah. More songs. I could add about 25 more off the cuff to this list. Exactly.

That way you won't win the awards with the new name. I wanted to type "this year's awards" but you know the setlist change might not come in the next 3 years. :happyhands:

Totally just dawned on me how Burnout isn't on the set these days.

I know, I was lucky to see them play it in Pittsburgh in March but it was wasted on me because I was only half the fan then than I became after the show. They played Waiting too but not Scattered.

tbh the club tour really got the best set. even the standard set was better than this (IMO, other than forever now not being in the set)

Bang Bang, Rev Rad, KYE, Holiday, Letterbomb, BOBD (idk why they put letterbomb in the middle when they couldve faded into this after holiday), Longview, 2k Light Years, Welcome to Paradise, Christie Rd into Burnout, Scattered, Hitchin a Ride, Waiting, AWTW/St Jimmy, When I Come Around, Basket Case, She, KFAD, Still Breathing, Minority. Then encores are your standard AI/JOS, OW/GR. But that is still a KILLER set. It was your standard set but it had PLENTY of "deeper" hits like Christie Road and Waiting. And it was a bit more Dookie heavy than AI heavy which I think balanced out a bit nicer than 50% of the set being AI songs and having only like Basket Case, She, Longview, and When I Come Around. Thats anywhere from 7-9 songs from AI depending on if they played some extra big ones like Novacaine vs 3-4 from Dookie. Maybe the club tour just felt more spectacular because it was at the beginning of the tour? Idk this set was slightly different but it made a huge difference to the feel of the show

I was at the Toronto show on Friday, and every GD fan knows that when KFAD comes on you make a break for the bathroom and get rid of your beer for the long drive home.  That's pretty much the only reason I can see for keeping that stupid song and stupid costume bit in the show.  So you can take a piss and not miss anything good.

I would kill for the guys to take a cue from Pearl Jam and Springsteen etc. and mix up the shows every night.  Set lists carved in stone have become such a Green Day staple, I genuinely don't understand who's decision this is.  The band?  Management?  I just don't get it, and this isn't a new fan complaint.  People have been asking for this for so long, it just boggles my mind that no-one is listening.

Not to mention they didn't completely omit and ignore Insomniac during the club tour. I can't believe that even after Billie's recent IG posts they still haven't got around to actually playing any of it, not even one goddamn song. What's going on?

Man, so frustrating. I wish someone from the band somehow notices the growing frustration over the stale unchanged setlist and does something about it. I believe it genuinely might be affecting them financially (ticket sales) as well... Probably not much, but still, I think it is having a negative effect...

Yeah, I've seen them play it a few times, including PA, but I'm kind of bummed to see it go.

It's just really odd to me how they're so rigid with the setlist. It doesn't seem like them to stick with a formula. Even if it's a pyro/lights issue, I'm sure it wouldn't be a disaster for them to use minimal effects for a few songs. No one would give a shit, really.

Yeah, plus they literally managed to pull this off 7 years ago on the 21CB world tour, especially during the second America leg and after that the South America Leg and back then they had the most epic, complex full scale production in their touring history (way more complicated then RevRad's slightly downscaled tour production). So that doesn't work as an excuse for me...
