Tubbie Head
Know Your Enemy as an opener felt soooooo weird. Why not RevRad? I'd like to know what kind of logic they used to choose it
paperlanterns22
I've seen this on a lot of setlists and I know it's an opinion but I don't think holiday would work late in the set imo. It's such a early set song:)

bouncingoffthewallbja
I'm actually really surprised that East Jesus Nowhere hasn't been touched this tour. It is such a perfect song to be played live and allows for so much crowd interaction and participation. I especially love the end when it's just Billie's voice and a couple of strums of the guitar and it dies down momentarily, and then everything comes screaming and kicking in again one final time! I just love it

Are they gonna do it? OMG. Anyhow, just the fact that they're going to play something is already great! Let's hope so- we know they love Insomniac. They played the hell out of it at Webster (Arnatage, Brat, Stuart...) and hopefully this post confirms they're itching to play this stuff at the larger shows. Even one or two songs would be a huge bonus. Slightly random/ gratuitous tidbit- when I met them in March I commented on how Westbound Sign is just an excellent, classic song that never received its due. And one of them agreed and didn't for a second need to pause or think about it, it was an immediate "hell yeah". They know these song cold- they're their songs- and I'll bet they're dying to play them and when the time is right I'm convinced we'll see them. I think they could easily achieve the same thing with a new song but it's a safe choice to guarantee that the whole crowd is into the show and involved from the start so I think that's why they chickened out and switched to it

They seem to have a fear that's bordering on the irrational of every single person not knowing every word of a song and being into it 100% though so it doesn't really surprise me that much that opening with a well known total singalong/crowd involvement song was too tempting to resist. It's a song everybody knows, it has very simple rhytm to clap along to and it's easy to sing along. Plus with KYE they're able to open with picking up a fan and that's effective like nothing else

MillenniumFan
Tbh, if they'd replace the KFAD + Covers with: Brain Stew / Jaded (including the flames, GOTTA do that) and 21st Century Breakdown (the song) integrated into somewhere in the setlist, then I'd be all in favor of it! Hermione
The one time I saw them where they didn't play KFAD it was because they were playing all of Dookie instead. That was great but truth be told I still would've preferred KFAD . KFAD forever! But yeah getting rid of something (JOS or a couple of the other million AI songs I'm looking at you) and putting in Brain Stew/Jaded would be good.
