Won't they need to have two separate set lists for the upcoming tour? For example,Buffalo is a market they are just hitting on the Summer tour but this will be the 2nd time they have hit Chicago and Toronto within the last 6 months. Surely they'll have to play at least 5 or more different songs than the previous show in repeat markets.

They've just did the same in europe.

Winter tour and summer tour had very similar setlist

Yeah, I saw them in Manchester in Feb and then London last Saturday. The setlists did vary, we got Waiting, Scattered and Christie Road in Manchester and they played none of those in London. But in London we got Welcome to Paradise and 21 Guns, which was lovely. I would love them to regularly play something off 1039 at every show, I know they've been dropping in Paper Lanterns and Going to Pasalacqua etc, but sadly they've not played anything off 1039 at any of the shows I've seen them at (apart from Knowledge obv!) I'm glad they're playing some stuff off Kerplunk though, that's been really nice. Some people argue that they could cut out some of the hey-oooo-ing and trim KFAD down a bit to allow for more room for older songs, but honestly they're the things that make a Green Day show unique, it feels like one big party!

Some variation would be nice but I'm hardly complaining, really like all of the RevRad stuff they've been playing though, I think there's a really good balance on there at the moment, some 21CB wouldn't go amiss either. But hell, if they played everything I wanted them to then they'd have to play all day and night!

Paper Lanterns...how about that. So glad they served that one up this week. I've said it a few times and I'll say it again- look at the late 21CB sets vs. the early tour and that is how it's going to evolve here. There's a bit of hope mixed into this prediction, and I don't know for sure- but it makes sense to me.

I'm glad I'm seeing them towards the end of the tour then -- hopefully they'll get bored by then and start mixing it up more.

I'll bet they play an unexpected song or two in Madrid tonight. We'll see, but I would guess they'll wrap up the European tour with something interesting. Can't wait for the US leg- the setlist will still be similar for sure but I'm convinced there'll be 3-4 songs in the "audible" portion that'll change from night to night.

Homecoming is better.

But how do you know that the show's over if they don't play Good Riddance? ;)

Literally they're like "this is our last song" before Forever Now, and then again before Jesus of Suburbia, and you're just there like "yeah but I know you're lying though" :D

Removing good riddance from the setlist might be the ******** idea i have ever heard. One of GD's biggest hits, a so good song, and a lovely song they wrap up their set with. NO DISCUSSION :D

They removed Good Riddance from a lot of the shows on the trilogy tour and the show that I saw felt very unfinished without it. It is the perfect closing song.

Guys, we might finally get some Insomniac. And maybe (and I'm 100% speculating here) even the full album? Are they gonna do it? OMG. Anyhow, just the fact that they're going to play something is already great!

Billie also had a post about them playing 86 on Letterman.

Nuclear Family would have been a nice opener, giving the tour a nice taste of Trilogy. I feel the next leg will be slightly deeper. Or the exact same but I hope they at least keep doing WTP and Paper Lanterns. Or Pasalacqua, that's killer!
