Can't wait to compare the US setlists vs the European ones.
I think Troubled Times would do quite well live here in the US-unleash frustration and all.

I am okay with the band playing anything, but I think it'd be nice if they switched one or two songs every few days on tour. Not that I think they'll do it, but they did have a few nights of surprises in Europe so :)

Yes.  This.  I agree with you completely!   I think Troubled Times would be an excellent addition to the set list.  It is not only really relevant but I think would sound AMAZING live.  I'm also okay with them playing anything- I'm just so excited for the opportunity to finally see them play! :)

I am really happy they have been playing Letterbomb, I do want more Insomniac though!

About special needs and seating- if your show is in the US, then the venue must by law provide you with accessible access and seating. And, based on our experience, this seating is usually really well done- good sightlines, very safe, etc. For example, for our House of Blues show they put us in the balcony over the stage- she was able to see everything while seated and they escorted us around the line to get in and up and down and elevator to the seats. I'd call your venue in advance to make sure they can accommodate you and get on the ADA list. If they handle it by the book, they'll provide you a special needs escort to bring you into the venue and to you accessible seating. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how well they'll accommodate you. I hope you both enjoy the show!

I'm in the UK, and it's an outdoor show so not sure how they'd go about it but might still check it out. Thanks!

During the AI and 21CB Tours they played the whole album first at most shows ? so why not continue  it with revrad ..........

My only complaint with the current set list is it not including Welcome to Paradise.  I love that song so much and it just feels like something's missing for me.

We just don't need over half of American Idiot.

Are We The Waiting is probably the most baffling addition to the setlist this tour. At least on the 99 revs tour they played Brain Stew into St Jimmy.

I don't know if the person who posted the set on setlistfm last night was wrong or not but is sais they did not do Scattered. I will be pissed if they stop doing that one. One of the few deep cuts the set has.

They only did it at a few shows with AI and even less (maybe 2 or 3 small warm up shows) with 21st CB. Maybe it was because they were more like a story? Still it is kind of surprising they never did that (or at least played more Rev Rad songs) at the smaller shows they played at the beginning of the tour, especially as they played almost all trilogy songs before the last tour and even all of Dookie a few times. I'd love it if they did but seems quite unlikely now.

I agree, but having been at the catwalk for the first time at my show on this tour I have a new appreciation for Are We the Waiting , it is really amazing from there with Billie singing to everyone and holding people's hands and stuff. I'd prefer Holiday replaced by Say Goodbye or EJN and JOS replaced by several songs from under-represented albums.

I was fine with Brain Stew leading into St Jimmy, but I am even more in love with the fact that they brought Are We the Waiting back.
I saw Green Day for the first time during the 99Rev tour, and wished for that song to be on the set. Hearing it during the RevRad tour was very fulfilling, and I can imagine many other Green Day fans that may or may not have seen the band before feel the same. There is something simply magical about hearing them back to back.

Are we the waiting is one of my favs from AI - if I ever got a tattoo it would incorporate this song.

I'll be pissed too. One of my favorite songs by them.

This will be my third time seeing them and it looks like I will still never have heard Welcome to Paradise live

Imagine how many more songs they could play if they dropped the Hey-Oh act. I like it but no where near as much as Welcome to Paradise.

I found peace regarding setlists. They play what they play. I don't even look at them anymore.

Imagine if they actually just packed in as many songs as they could instead of putting on an entertaining show that's more than just the songs they play though :P. Wouldn't be a Green Day show without the hey ohs and all the other fun stuff.

I look at them and debate them even though I'm fully aware that when I'm at a show I couldn't care less about it and am always happy whatever they play

Welcome to paradise is amazing live. It's just so powerful when he plays the opening chords then tres drums brings everyone in. It's so good live and would love to see them bring it back in. I would swap are we the waiting for a Revrad song like outlaws! I would love to hear Say Goodbye live as well haha

I have to agree with everything you say. I'd never want them to shorten songs or change the way they performe just to fit in more songs, that's bs and as you say, once at the gig I don't really give at toss about what they play. BUT, I still find debating setlists entertaining and my opinion will still be, that I don't think they should use the exact same setlist every single show until the end of the tour...

And I agree with you that it's entertaining haha. Maybe if I was seeing more than one show on this tour I'd be more eager to see it change , but since I'm not I'm alright with it as long as they change it up a bit from tour to tour.

No, so far they haven't yet played:

-Say Goodbye (in it's entirety)

-Outlaws

-Bouncing Off The Wall

-To Dumb To Die

What a fucking shame, the entire album should be played at EVERY show and take off the songs they been playing all the time for years!

I agree with you on EJN fully, I actually felt on the 21CB tour when they played EJN/ Holiday it felt like the same song. Id like to see them play that again.

I agree about that fan moment with AWTW but I feel some other songs could have the same affect. Even Longview could have that moment.

Well, KFAD is still in there, and there's nothing we can do about it. As much as we would all love to see a million songs instead, it's just not happening. KFAD has been around for 20 years in the setlist and apparently not going anywhere. During the recent club run I was really hoping to see it had been dropped, but it's clearly not happening anytime soon. And who could blame them? Not everyone's seen it played about 15-20 times like me- the first time through it is entertaining, especially for the casual/ non-crazy fan who's dying for Road To Acceptance/ Westbound/ etc.... (like many of us).

I've been lucky enough to meet Billie before and if I ever do again the conversation will be like this:

Me: "Billie- why all the KFAD? We're dying to hear all the other incredible songs you guys have written instead!"

Billie: "WTF are you talking about? Everyone loves it! Just chill, enjoy the show, and we're going to play what we think the crowd will love"

Me: "You're right. I love you guys! Hugs to KFAD!"
