They played Forever Now :D

They better keep that in their setlist in Australia! Also BOBD being played again is always welcome but I am hoping for the return of WMUWSE also.

I know, what I'm saying is that those two songs were the wrong ones to be cut for the reason I have already stated. A lot of those songs on that set list were not even hits, much more disposable.

I'm glad they don't only play the hits. That would make the show much more predictable and boring - at least to me. Hits are mainly radio friendly, which is not quite a bad thing, but I also need some deep cuts and "alternative" songs, if you know what I mean.

I agree with people saying they need to change the usual set list, I'm glad they're playing some Insomniac songs like Armatage Shanks and Stuart and the Ave., I'm waiting for Walking Contradiction as well.

And from Nimrod it would be nice if they play The Grouch, Jinx and Platypus.

Maybe they want to limit the number of slower songs? Like I could see them only wanting to play one out of BOBD and 21 Guns (two similar slowish power ballads), and since they're obsessed with playing American Idiot songs BOBD would naturally be the one they'd pick.

It's been cool to see some changing up of the setlist and plenty of the new songs being aired. I'll be most interested to see what they play when they start on arenas though, can't really predict much from what they play at smaller shows.

I agree. But if you should cut anything, it should be moderate hits, not big iconic ones.

This is also a good point. I hope they switch to 21 Guns for Aus though, I've never heard it live (they probably won't though).

Good morning everyone !
I open this thread to discuss about the upcoming European tour.
The guys are going to start from my country, Italy, and I'll be there in Firenze, Bologna and Milano...Is anybody coming? :runaround:
anyway, I write this topic to know your expectations about the EU setlist, because I suppose that they will change it from the last part of the American tour.
I really hope they could fill the setlist with more Rev Rad songs, such as Say Goodbye (possibly after Holiday ) , Outlaws and Too Dumb To Die.
I also hope that they would leave songs like Private Ale, Armatage Shanks and Stuart and the Ave.

What do you think? I'm so curious to know other predictions and hopes about this :D

Well the first thing that comes to my mind is that they definitely shouldn't open with KYE. I mean open with a new song such as Bang Bang! And I agree, Say Goodbye would be an killer addition to the setlist. I also hope they keep Forever Now.

Hey since we already have a thread for general discussion of new setlists I've gone ahead and merged your thread with it and we can carry on here :)

I would also love some more Rev Rad songs (especially Say Goodbye or Somewhere Now ). But as always my main wish is that they keep King for a Day.

I also agree that it would be better to open with Bang Bang than KYE. Switching to that was a chicken move :P

Yeah I hope that they keep King For A Day too. It's traditional!

I'm going to Bologna! ;)

By the way, I would like to hear more songs from RevRad and some other song from 21stCB that isn't KYE. For example: East Jesus Nowhere, Peacemaker or Viva la Gloria!

Oh yes completely agree with you on that one!

I hope they start opening with Bang Bang again. Having an explosive song to start a gig is best.

I think it's also possible that they will open with RevRad. They opened the 99 Revolutions tour with 99 Revolutions and the 21stCB tour with 21stCB. So it's not that unlikely. Plus, the song will get a video soon (probably right when the tour starts??), and that would be a way to promote it, too.

I also hope for many, many RevRad songs, Forever Now and Still Breathing MUST be there, but I'd also love to hear Say Goodbye, Troubled Times and Too Dumb To Die (I will literally melt when Billie sings this intro:wub:). One or two trilogy songs would be great, but unlikely. And I second the demand to keep Hitchin and KFAD. Epic!

But I still stick to my plan not to check out the setlist during the shows in Italy because I'll be at the show in Mannheim in less than two weeks.

Ykno what? I was actually thinking about bringing a sign to my show saying "play platypus" since it was on their audible list for the club tour right?

I think Revolution Radio would be a great opener, it's energetic and fun, and I love the little build up in the beginning.

I hope they open with RR if not with Bang Bang.

I would love to see Billie doing an acoustic set at the end of the Show which includes Songs like Whatsername, 2.000 Light Years Away or Last Night On Earth. Such like he did back in the 21st CB era. I liked it when he changed the acoustic Songs from each Show :-) Also wonder if they will use a catwalk in Cologne

I would really want to hear these songs (without mentioning any songs they usually always do)

Last night on earth

Macy's Day Parade

21 guns

Troubled Times

Too Dumb to Die

Give me novacaine

Gloria Little Girl

I still haven't gotten to see them do ANYTHING from Kerplunk! I still haven't seen Burnout, Welcome To Paradise, When I Come Around, Geek Stink Breath, Armatage Shanks, Scattered, Stuart And The Ave., Give Me Novacaine would be nice. Soo much to see, only so much time in a show. Going to be truly exciting either way!! RR would be a great opener, but I feel like they may open with American Idiot, and then Bang Bang right after, AI is a great opener and is good to get of the way early and not near the end.

If they play any trilogy songs (which I hope they do), I really hope they mix it up, and give us some we haven't heard much of before  .. maybe Lazy Bones or Kill The DJ? I think I'd die of happiness to hear either of those two..

From a while ago, but the stretching songs is boring live - with the exception of KFAD. It rarely adds anything to the song (KFAD an exception) and means less songs get played
