To listen or not to listen?

The lyrics in the written form are Trilogy-like. Is it good?

It is not as good as Bang Bang, but it is good.

I love it and prefer it over Bang Bang :) the guitar riff and the chorus melody are so good. How did this leak?

This is not true, it's better than Bang Bang. The SOLO!!!

So it's a perfect second single despite the fact that it's worse than the previous single?

Why do you think it's a single?

So since most people seem to really like it, when are you going to say you don't?

The bridge in Bang Bang is far superior, the use of octaves sound great and are so much fun to play.

Great song, I don't think it is overproduced at all

Rock fans with their overproduced complaints make me laugh

Wouldn't be surprised if this song ends up being the opener for the tour, at least once the album gets released.

This song is the culmination of everything Green Day has ever done in their entire career. There are little pieces in every part of the song that make you say "it sounds like album X," and you end up going through all the albums.

i love it!

It has a sonical vibe from American Idiot again. I somehow hear the Vocalsound of extraordinary girl!
I hear btw a lot of every album in it... that is amazing... its pure green day!
And again its really fast paced like Bang Bang :) and those drums?'! Murder City <3

I'm jumping down to the chorus! :D I think you can dance so amazing to this live!

This album is kicking some serious ASS!

i think that this song is the lost song or b-side of american eulogy or american idiot, this sounds like this songs , i mean , is the natural evolution of this songs xD , is my personal opinion , but is very good but bang bang is better (Drums solo it´s amazing) and the solo guitar in revolution radio is awesome.

I think the whole album may end up being like that! :) Seriously, this album is going to be so good.

Billie Joe's lyrical ability has definitely taken a hit in recent years.

I don't think he has ever been super consistent, though. He has written mostly really sharp songs, but it's not like there aren't some weird/poorly written ones in there, either. There are a couple on every album that lack a little in the lyrics department. I think about songs like Brutal Love and just can't bring myself to agree that he has slipped in recent years. He's still writing some of his best work, I think.

Loving that so far this album seems to be a mix of all their previous work. They're really, really nailing it.

But I don't ever recall him actively recycling past lyrics on this level before. This song lyrically feels like it's on the same level as 99 Revolutions. It comes off as corny with surface level observations.

With me hearing only Ordinary World, Bang Bang, and now RevRad... I can already say this is truly the gang's return to form. Mind you I loved all of Green Days albums, but this one has that almost intangible quality already that separated Dookie, AI, etc from the rest of their writing.

I'm assuming the fact based off that it's widely rumored to be the second single and it's coincidentally the only track that just so happened to be leaked.

Everytime I listen to the song I imagine the guys are back in the 90's. Such an awesome song!
