Second favourite son

I know what your saying, and agree, it rules! Fun as hell to play on guitar, sounds like Green Day to me. I love this one!

What if it turns out that ALL the lyric video song were being released as singles?

Rev Rad is coming.

Then Ordinary World and Say Goodbye.

I'm starting to think that might actually be it.

Youngblood is missing in your list! I'm quite sure it will happen like this.

I knew I was missing one!   Six singles is a bit much, but I think that all those songs could do well.

According to Wikipedia, RevRad, Youngblood, Somewhere Now, Say Goodbye, Bouncing off the Wall and Outlaws have all charted.   Revolution Radio is a solid album and I think that any of the songs would make some kind of impact.    But back to my original point, I think the songs with lyric videos have the great potential.

Young Blood is a great one (and is coming in forth as far as the charts go, behind only the singles and title track).

So the singles will probably look like this:

BANG BANG.   Still Breathing.   Revolution Radio.   Ordinary World.  Young Blood.   and if we're lucky enough for a SIXTH single, Say Goodbye would be a nice way to end promotion for the album.

Bouncing and Outlaws charted too, but not in the top 20 like the others.

One or two from Say Goodbye, Ordinary World and Youngblood will be released as singles. I actually think Youngblood is well-placed in this regard due to its more throwaway nature compared to the gravity of BB, RR and SB. Of course, Ordinary World is also in the running as the pseudo-Good Riddance acoustic ballad successor.

I don't know whether this has already been mentioned as a misheard lyric (if you know me, you'll know that I experience it quite  lot!), but did anyone else think that the line:

'operation no control and the headline: my love's bulletproof'

was actually:

'operation no control and the headline: Allah's bulletproof'

Because when I heard that the first time, I thought 'WOW. That's a bit risky, isn't it?' 😅😅

I never misheard it that way, since the pronunciation is quite different and semantically it wouldn't make any sense (except if Billie ever intended to refer to the Arab Uprisings).

I feel like Forever Now and/or Somewhere Now deserve to be singles more than Say Goodbye and maybe Youngblood. But BJA is ofc gonna make Youngblood a single because of his love for 80. Point being the opener and closer are both better songs than Say Goodbye I M O

They are definitely! Yes JOS was a single but they are too long to be singles. They will probably be in the tour set though, I can't really see them not doing both Somewhere Now and Forever Now, well definitely be hearing Forever Now. Revolution Radio is becoming one of my favorite tracks off the album, seems to put me in an amazing mood and I usualy sing with every word. Love the riffs and looking forward to this video and catching it live.

Well for the first few listens, I had it on in the background, and to me, that's definitely what it sounded like. I just wasn't sure so I checked the lyrics when I started to think about it more.

I guess people hear different things. To me, that could very easily be misheard.

They deserve it more, but they won't make it as singles. Somewhere Now is very powerful on the album, but it lacks a certain punch to make it as a single. Forever Now is too long, how much as it pains me to say this. There were times ('60s and '70s) when suites like Cygnus 1-X and A Quick While He's Away made it to the top of the charts. Alas those things aren't exactly in vogue right now. I'd love them to release either as a single, but commercially they won't be a grand success.
