It already has the same amount of views the Oh Love Lyric video gained in 4 years. To be fair, you cannot compare Facebook views to YouTube. Facebook often automatically starts playing videos when you scroll through your feed. Bang Bang was shared many times, but many of the "views" weren't actual times the video was watched by people. For sure, but you can't also just count the YouTube views since they're using two platforms.

I was alternating BB with various other favorite tracks off each album, and every one of CLA's mixes seemed to be more blended/ muddied vs. BB, which has a very unique and powerful sound comparatively. Unfortunately, now I can't listen to anything off the old catalogue without being annoyed by it! All the old stuff now sounds much less dynamic by comparison. Good non-technical explanation that makes a lot of sense, thanks. In Tim Armstrong I Trust until proven otherwise. I'm really excited for this- I'd been hoping for some type of collaboration between the Armstrongs for some time (as far as I know, they haven't worked together since "Radio" aside from playing together during the HOF warm-up), and I'll take the video. It probably won't make much of a difference regarding the video, but Rancid can still bring it- I never miss them when they tour, and they've been at the top of their game the last couple of times I've seen them. Timmy Timebomb is a legend and it will be great to have a highly creative, non-traditional director for this video. One thing that helps a bit is FLAC if you have players that support it. Less compression than CD/AAC/MP3, you can play it louder, and you get a slightly richer sound out of it (hell, even Horseshoes & Handgrenades kicks up a half-notch when you listen to its FLAC copy). American Idiot, 21st CB, and the Trilogy are all available on FLAC and you can bet your ass I'll buy RevRad when it's released in that format. P.S. Thanks to Matt for introducing me to that format.
amberwhite
Gotta say I was a little unsure if I really loved this ( after my initial excitement at first listen ) , but when it came up on shuffle on my Spotify Playlist this morning I had to crank it and dance around. So...two thumbs up!!
DeJennsitized
There's a little sound the guitar makes when changing chords about 22 seconds in that's just

Popular Post desertrose
Green Day's "Bang Bang" may reach alternative radio's Top 10 in just its second week (and first full week) of availability. Despite launching late in the tracking period, Green Day’s “Bang Bang” debuted at #17 on last week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart. It may reach the Top 10 this week. The new single received 521 spins during the first two days of the August 14-20 tracking period. The count positions “Bang Bang” at #9 on Mediabase’s building chart. Because the week is still young — and because airplay for new songs can be erratic — one cannot yet guarantee “Bang Bang” will reach the Top 10. What one can say with certainty, however, is that alternative radio is expressing significant early interest in the single. http://headlineplanet.com/home/2016/08/16/green-days-bang-bang-trending-top-10-alternative-radio/

localinsomniac
HDTracks is so key. I'm no audiophile, but the difference between those and the commercial releases is worth the extra money. Only problem for me is they're not iPod-compatible.
Popular Post solongfromthestars
Still listening to this on repeat. It's so good! I know I'll end up not liking it as much because I've overplayed it but I don't want to listen to anything else, haha.
CrimsonArk
Considering there will be physicals of the album on release, then I'd say it's safe to say that it'll likely leak a week or two in advance, so sometime in late September. Just really wish they made the album available sooner digitally since it's clearly done. 2 months is a pretty significant wait nowadays. Karlachu
Absolutely in love with this new track. I can't get it outta my head. Super excited to hear what's next!
Maid Meringue
Someday I will read every word printed on the newspaper clippings used in the lyric video. I'm just really interested in what they have to say.
Christian's Inferno!
I'm loving Bang Bang and if the rest of the album sounds like that, I'll be very pleased! But I'm not really enjoying Ordinary World. I know there's a good chance it'll sound different on the album but I don't think it'll make that much of a difference. And I've listened to it a good few times. It seems kinda like the song Drama Queen which is another 'meh' song to me. I don't want it to sound like that. This song doesn't even compare to other slower songs that Green Day have done I would've much preferred to see Devil's Kind on the record. I love the vibe that gives off and I think a studio version would sound epic.
Hermione
Because the words "bang bang" aren't actually that prominent in the song I still get the Jessie J song in my head whenever I see the title . But the rest of the time "I wanna be a celebrity martyr" and "mommy's little soldier" is always on my mind. So good, every time I listen to it it has me wanting to listen to a Green Day album.

Maid Meringue
I thought "Hero of the Hour" would have been a good song title because it probably would have pissed at least a few people off lol

The last time I even came close was with 21 guns, the first green day song I ever bought.
