Imagine how cool it would've been if they stopped and had a really short dialogue between the 2 end choruses.

That would be so cool, like Jesus of Suburbia style :)

Also the way she looked at him and threw the money made it seem like it was really Green Day behind the robbery, that they were the "masterminds" who planned it and invited everyone to celebrate a successful heist :D Maybe Green Day are the bosses of a crime ring made of social rejects :ninja: I really like that idea :D

I loved it! I really think it is one of their best recent videos. As someone who is into film-making there are some really cool shots in the video and it really works out with the song. It may not be adequate to the meaning of the song, but the general audience probably doesn't know the real meaning, overall great work

Seeing the video, I thought: "I didn't remember that Billie Joe has such a fat ass"

Good vid, but the final is too open to not make it a second part.

I agree. Something's off with the end. It makes we wonder if we'll get a music video for RR and how it will connect with the Bang Bang one.

Ooh, they could make a video for Revrolution Radio that explains why they robbed the bank!  That could turn out very well or very badly though, depending on how they did it.

It really reminded me of "Ich Will" by Rammstein in the beginning :D I love it though, it's so fun to watch! Also that girl that just stares at Billie? I half expected him to stop and ask "the fuck you want"

Yeah as soon as I heard the song the Ich will video immediately came to mind, the same type of commentary on how the media makes criminals famous. Interesting to see the video is also similar! Although glad to see it's a fresh take on the idea, not a rip off or anything.

Fucking awesome video! The robbery scene is suitably creepy with the masks and the party scene is fun, captures the satirical tone of the song very well I'd say.

The masks could be a commentary on how the media takes everything at face value rather than actually looking in detail at anything, as well as the idea of making criminals famous while gaining TV ratings themselves.  They'd prefer to say it's Green Day to make the story bigger, rather than actually look at the real perpetrators/reasons for the crime/root cause.

I dig it. I'm honestly never a huge fan of any of their music videos (American Idiot and Boulevard are cool, Walking Contradiction is hilarious, Stray Heart is inventive, but other than that none stand out [EDIT: 21CB is their best video and I forgot about it, gah]), but this was cool. I would've liked it if it matched the more serious tone of the song, but maybe they didn't want to go too dark with it. It could've been VERY dark. But as noted above, it does still comment on how the media makes people famous for committing crimes, so it fits.

Loved that the robbers were women. The guys looked great. That's enough to make me give it a thumbs up.

That girl is very attractive.  I like how they managed to get that across without having to take away any of her clothes as well.

So, you have to rob a bank to be able to see a Green Day show these days!

It's certainly better than anything from the trilogy!

YES my thoughts exactly. I can't stop staring at her. That creepy borderline-crazy look in her eyes is so captivating as well.
