Revolution Radio Tour production

I guess Tre's latest picture confirms the lack of a catwalk set up in the next few days.

Hoping that there will, at the very least, be some pyro for all of you across the ocean to enjoy :)

I'm totally fine with no pyro/no elaborate production, but no catwalk makes me sad :( Seeing these pictures from inside the venue makes me so excited though :runaround:

Yes, I'm literally like - :woot::runaround: now. Can't wait to see what the first shows will actually be like because now we can still just guess. Best thing would be to not check out anything, so I can be surprised at my show, but nooo way can I do that haha.

I'll stay away from setlists. Not knowing the song order does a lot

i have no choice but to check out the setlists. my son has only just started getting into them over the last 6/7 months so he doesn't know a lot of the words yet and he keeps telling me he won't go to his first ever gig without knowing all the words so he wants to know what songs are going to be played so he can make sure he knows them lol.

That's so cute, though! I hope he enjoys it

On the other hand, the bangs during Holiday during the 21st Breakdown Tour are sooo good in my opinion.

It is, he's learned a lot but with how many songs they have its a lot for him to learn lol he's kind of fixated on the Dookie album at the moment.

I'm not sure who will enjoy it more, its his first ever gig, but its my first time seeing Green Day, I swear I'm slowly turning back into my 13 yo self the closer it gets haha

That's true, I'll make an effort to do that as well... I can already see myself failing, but it's not even 2 weeks to go through, so maybe I can manage :P

Yes, they were good. Kind of theatrical but I liked it.

I loved Dookie when I was getting into them as well...it really is a lot of material to go through.

I feel you! It's my first time seeing Green Day as well and I've never been more excited before a show. It's so dofjehahskdbfkshwj, you know? :P

I know I should do it or I'll be complaining in advance. I'd be insufferable  (more than I will be anyway, that is :P )

It's only two weeks! You set me off, now I'm so happy about it :runaround:I'm so excited. After 7 years of being a fan, I'm finally going to see what is it all about! :P

It was Dookie that got me into them, I was 13 at the time and I heard Longview for the first time that I got a bit interested then I heard Welcome to Paradise then Basketcase and I was hooked haha so I've been waiting a very long time for this. And I know exactly what you mean dsoiadghdagdgkladfg sums it up perfectly  I have 4 weeks to wait then will be seeing them 3 times in February and once in July in Glasgow on my birthday, its going to be the best birthday ever!!

I have to admit I was kind of hoping for a catwalk, but after Tre's post I don't think its going to happen.

Wow, that's a lot of time! 8 shows - you are lucky this time around

it is a long time to wait but i know once I see them it will be worth it. its only 4 shows this time around unfortunately, I would do more if I could though lol

You're doing better than me if you're acting normal, my husband is getting worried about me and my son has asked if he can stand somewhere I'm not at the show he's coming to with me

Looks awesome! Exactly what I pictured. I like how they're going back to the 90's production-wise. I'm sure there will be a catwalk for most shows! Getting me pumped!!

I'm sure it's going to be great!

I have a rule that I don't talk Green Day irl in order to avoid teased about being such a trash! :P Maybe it means I have more chill than I realize but I'm very excited. It's still unreal but somewhat less so now. I think it's still only dawning on me now.

It will be great, being the first time seeing them live, I think that's why I'm not worrying too much about what the production is like or even what songs they play as I'll just be happy to finally be seeing them.

I know how that feels, back when I first started liking them, people thought I was weird, if they found out I had a crush on Billie it was even worse. That's one of the reasons I had never seen them live as I wouldn't go to anything like that on my own back then and no one would go with me. Its really only the last couple of years I've started to think that I really don't give a crap what anyone else thinks. 3 of the 4 shows I'm going to this time I'm actually going to on my own. I honestly don't think its going to sink in for me until they are stood on that stage in front of me lol

Same, I'm most likely going to enjoy it whatever they play anyway :P

I never got judged for liking them but I prefer to keep it down - I'm a giant geek when it comes to them and I'm afraid it comes of like a super weird interest...I mean, you're talking to someone who heard AI and get a little carried away and geek out about Insomniac, Kerplunk or Revrad and they give you a look like "oh wait, what are you on about?" I don't feel bad about being a fangirl but I usually don't fangirl irl...my family knows, I guess some of my friends have figured out but that's about it.

I'd probably be going alone too if mom wouldn't go with me. I don't think anyone I know is going.

Even though there's probably gonna be no catwalk and the bare minimum of pyro, it'll be nice to see the guys playing and letting the music (and the fun they'll have playing) speak for itself!

I don't usually fangirl (too much anyway :P) but sometimes I let it out haha. You shouldn't be afraid though, that's why I used to keep quiet but now if someone doesn't like it then they know what they can do. I only want people in my life who will accept me for me including any mega geeky interests I might have lol.

I agree with this, I'm just looking forward to having fun and seeing them do what they do best

The last thing I want, but sadly could happen.

They use the same old intro they have been using since the 99 revolutions tour instead of a new one, it would be so boring.

I could live with that, but being the first time seeing them live everything will be new to me but I could see why that could get a bit tedious for people who has seen them before.

Yeah you shouldn't recycle everything. Something new would be nice (and kind of a standard since it's a new tour for a new album).
