Does it excist a Outlaws official music video? WHY haven't i heard about this? A guy on YT said this:

The Outlaws video is directed by P.R. Brown, same dude who has directed their music video Still Breathing. It was just exclusively uploaded to greenday.com for the people who paid for the idiot nation membership... That looks pretty damn official to me.

Only thing of note chart wise is that Revolution Radio moved up one place to #23 in the Alternative chart.

It has also dropped to No. 12 on Mainstream from 10 so I guess it's peaked as high as it's going to on that chart

One thing that I love about this era is that regardless of how well promotion was, this has created a huge opportunity for the band in the future. I remember before Bang Bang was released, Green Day's YouTube channel was hovering around 1 million subscribers, a little less than a million I believe. Now they are at 2.2 million, and I imagine the release of this album and all the lyric and music videos helped with that in some way. Along with new management, I think with Green Day's next album release (if there is one), we will see a wider range of exposure, and I am excited for it

Yup kind of, but i think as a lot of other people do think that we need a live DVD / live album. Or both would have been beter.

Well, we did get some live videos from this tour (Red Bull, AMA's, various TV shows), BUT not from their own gigs, which is UNQUESTIONABLY where they are at their best!

Also, the videos are from Awesome As F**k.

Still, that's the problem. They definitely need more well mixed and mastered pro-shot live footage on YouTube and on their website, preferable from a live album / live DVD...

Do we think after South America the Rev Rad era will be effectively over? Or will we get a third leg of the tour? I personally think a year plus of touring is enough for this era and would love to get new music sooner than later.

Maybe they will do the occasional show for fun

since warning came out green day has effectively taken around 4 years to make all of their albums anyway so i want this era to ride out for as long as possible before we get a 2-3 year dry period lol. especially because revrad is my favorite era so far besides american idiot and 93-98

They could still do Asia, they mentioned something about Japan which they rarely skip. Either way I'm guessing whatever they do in 2018 will be brief or the odd festival. I don't know if the past is any indication of how long it should take now, but I'm hoping for them to go back to the studio next year and a new album by 2019 which will be a three year wait from RevRad.

Yup i'm just dreaming of a Green Day concert movie just as Rolling Stone live at Havana Moon. Excellent movie!. But nah it won't happen. If it happens Eagle Rock won't produce it, unfortunately. I don't think the promo team can think that far :D:(:(:(

I mean isn't Bullet in a Bible more of what you're describing? It has interviews and stuff between songs.

Yeah.

Some people don't like BIAB's video editing, but I think we can all agree that the audio is pretty much flawless and I personally don't mind the video editing. Also, I'd take another BIAB style DVD any day...

However, I think a less heavily edited live DVD with either continuous songs (no interviews, behind the scenes in between, but at the end) or an interruption every 3-4 songs would be really awesome...

More pro shots would be incredibly welcome. I got into music in a serious way late 80s and into the 90s, we didnt have internet nor the goldmine that in Youtube. Having so many pro shot gigs from throughout their career easily available on Youtube is a blessing; the advent of sites like this were unimaginable in the 90s.

This weekend I watched three 2013 pro shots, with Reading being utterly brilliant, and delved back into some 2005 aswell as '98 concerts, and what they all prove is that GD are possibly the most entertaining live act around. Officially released pro shots are few but thankfully we have a wealth of them online. An official RevRad live DVD is something I hope is on the cards.

I don't like BIAB's video editing as i think the overall picture quality is bad. The pictures (different angles) change way too fast, and what is up with the colours, black and white etc? Audio quality is excellent but overall, nope.

No i don't think you can compare BIAB and Rolling Stones at Havana Moon. I think the sound quality in BIAB is excellent but that is maybe the only positive thing i have to say about the movie, as i don't think footage wise is good at all. Just watch Rolling Stones at Havana Moon, or the movie: Rolling Stones Ole Ole Ole.

It's just the style of editing. It's meant to give the illusion of different perspectives with a bit of energy, some as if you were actually in the audience, which I thought was pretty cool. I like the editing, it's unique.

I really like their new approach in terms of social media. Sure, most of the instagram live videos seem random as hell, but at least they give us something. And they're funny. Maybe, just maybe, it's a good sign for the future. It's a good thing to actually use social media in order to connect with the fans, and these videos are way more "personal" than uploadingg some picture from each concert. That's some sort of promotion, as well. And the livestream on Facebook was awesome as well. They should do such things more often. They did it for the fans AND they raised quite a lot of money for a good cause.

I think it's horrible. Just compare these two:

What we need most is a live DVD with a live album.

It's two different styles of editing, two different bands, two different energies. It's kinda pointless to make comparisons, but I really do prefer the choppy wobbly BIAB edit. It feels like I'm there.
