Green Day are playing 3 or 4 shows a week and on a huge world tour. Warner needs to release some proper promo tour footage.

Yes, they need to do more promotion, both for the album, but more importantly for the tour. Do some Tour Promos and stuff. Somebody needs to get them to understand this. I'm sorry, but uploading ''Jeff Matika Show'' from 4 years ago is not good promotion. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the videos, but just look at the number of views they're getting. The people doing promotion  for Green Day's social media (especially YouTube) need to do much more...

Not talking about quality of the actual music. I loved REVrad. I am talkng about the shitty numbers its doing on the charts and stuff. Green Day need to promote this shit a lot more

They did a good job with all the TV stuff - James Cordon, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, AMA, Red Bull sound space, stephen colbert... But i think their promotion on social channels are bad especially Youtube. Where is the RevRad music video? Why don't they never post any live footage?

Totally agree with this. I love GD but they need to get someone in who knows their shit regarding social media. The TV stuff is great, but they could utilise stuff like YT, Twitter, even Snapchat to get things going. And it's not even the guys who need to do anything, just someone who can run the offical Green Day accounts and generate some damn excitement!

New Rev Rad chart positions

Canada Rock - #18 from #23
US Rock Airplay - #36 from #40
US Mainstream Rock - #16 from #18
US Alternative - #38 (First appearance on chart)

The single hasn't charted on the US Hot Rock Songs yet, however the music video might impact on these chart positions well next week

Yes that is so correct indeed.

Nothing particularly exciting but Somewhere Now is climbing the Kerrang rock airplay chart.  Up to number 27 from 31 last week. Link

Bizarrely it's received more radio play than any other RevRad song in the UK, despite not even having a lyric video.

I think I could definitely get behind GD snapchatting their tour nightly (or at least close to it) instead of just the occasional Instagram story post and the picture shot after each show. Travis Barker of blink 182 usually loads up his IG story with vids of him behind the kit when they're playing a show and while i think a behind the kit angle isnt the greatest idea, the concept is good.

Anyone here have any idea where the American Idiot movie went? We haven't got any news about ti since last year or something when BJ said that the script writing were going good

I don't think anything has been said about it since November last year. All we know is it's happening and BJ is playing the role of St. Jimmy.

Honestly as long as they are making music I like and seem to have a good time doing it i'm content. I mean they've had an amazing career so far and they seem really happy right now so the rest is just extra to me. :)

How lucky are we that our favorite band has just released their 43rd single?  How many other bands have accomplished this?   Red Hot Chili Peppers have 44 but they started releasing them a whole decade earlier than our boys.  Green Day really have accomplished so much!

Revolution Radio is a great song and the video is growing on me.  I like the video more knowing that it is tied to the Turn It Around film.  The song can take on different meanings and that is part of what makes a song powerful.  It can take on whatever it is your are going through.

At this point in the promotion of the album, I am fairly certain that I know what's coming next.  After this song has done it's duty on the radio, we'll get nothing followed by "Ordinary World" as a single.   After that, I'm seriously hoping for a fifth single.  It could be any song.   Just do it!
