I hope Green Day releases Forever Now as a single.  Not gonna happen but I can hope.   Tre's drumming on that is amazing.  Well, Tre's drumming is amazing anyway.  Somewhere Now would be a nice single in my always right opinion.

We had a crazy amount of lyric videos, I don't see them doing more then 4 singles if each single has their own music video

Everybody does the lyric video now.  I don't think that really has an affect on anything really.   As long as they at least do four official singles I'll be satisfied.   Revolution Radio next, followed by Ordinary World would be the obvious way to go, and that would work.  I think the title track would do okay, but not hit number one.  Ordinary World could be a cross over hit, or it could do okay too, and then fade away.

I'll go ahead and take a stab at MY pick for single #5 though:    Too Dumb to Die!

I can't believe (and don't know if it's actually true, it's wikipedia) that Somewhere Now has reached #23 on a chart with not so much as even a lyric video.   Revolution Radio, Youngblood and Say Goodbye were probably due to those if they really charted.     Bouncing off the Wall and Outlaws charted too, and that's kind of a head scratcher.

Off topic again but I will always enjoy Blink's 90's classics. Dumpweed and Mutt, are a couple I can't forget. Yes, Tom was the whiny guy.

Wow, I did not know that....Somewhere Now is #23?  Thanks for the info.  P.S. I had a head scratcher for a few days and it turned out to be that it's winter where I am.  The air is dry.  I even had longer than usual hair but I just got a hair cut and it's all good now.  I have beautiful jet black hair by the way.   Oh, anybody can change info on wikipedia...  maybe someone is trying to be funny.  =)

Hey, ho, let's go!

Still Breathing official #1 on the Alternative chart according to Mediabase:

http://m.hitsdailydouble.com/igen&id=304588

We just need Billboard to publish it on Tuesday.

Also, the song is going to top the Mainstream Rock chart next week:

I'm so happy for a song like SB to top all these charts! :)

It's amazing how well GD has been doing the last couple weeks. Still Breathing, for a single that hasn't been promoted enough is doing great. And from the album charts, if there was any doubt that RevRad wasn't doing as well as the trilogy (Seagull), then there's no doubt that RevRad has done better now

Absolutely. Also here, in Italy, RevRad is rising again: it was out of the chart 2 weeks ago, #42 last week and #37 this week.

At this point, is there any hope of seeing SB entering at least the Hot 125? Cause it seems it's doing very very well...

I assume this link is for Adult Alternative Chart http://hitsdailydouble.com/mediabase_chart_details&fmt=R1 It just says AAA. Anyway, it lists GD as No. 20 from No. 24 last week (Although it was No. 28 on Billboard last week)

Also, if SB gets higher on the Hot Rock songs chart than it's current position (No. 12), then it will be a new peak position, as it peaked at No. 12 back in October. I think the higher it gets on this chart, the more likely it is to get into the Hot 100 or 125 as this chart measures sales, airplay and streaming as does the Hot 100. Bang Bang peaked at No. 8 on this chart and peaked at No. 4 on the Bubbling Under the Hot 100 chart. So, SB might enter the top 125

If iTunes sales are representative of the whole volume of sales, there's no chance :(

Back when airplay and sales were the only criteria for the Hot 100, you had to roam around #150-#200 at iTunes and be an airplay hit to make the Hot 100. I remember that when Oh Love entered the Hot 100 (#97) it was not only a hit on rock formats, but also charted on HAC and had some spins on Pop (somewhere near 18m audience in total). The point is Still Breathing is way beyond the top 100 radio songs and struggles to get higher than #400 on iTunes (and streaming of the song is poor). There's no chance it will chart on the Hot 100, unless some people buy it

But what position did Bang Bang get to on iTunes? It was able to peak at No. 104. It peaked at No. 8 on the Hot Rock Songs chart which measures airplay, sales and streams, as does the Hot 100. SB is currently at No. 12 on that chart. Can we rely on the airplay SB seems to be getting (which is good) to get onto the Hot 100 or at least Bubbling Under the Hot 100?

BB did reach #104 because of sales and streaming in its first week (almost no airplay). It stayed around #20-#30 in the first days.

SB did also well when released and stayed in the top 75 for more than a week , but it was not enough to appear in the bubbling chart.

SB may rise up to #8 on hot rock songs but this is not an absolute criterion to say whether it is or not on hot 125 . Anyway I hope my forecasts are wrong 😂

Actually, if you look on Ebay, you can find also the back of the cover, where it says "Impact Date: February 10th 2017'.

Why would they be waiting to announce it though? Why wouldn't they just announce/release it when SB was released as a single/music video?

Makes sense. My argument is just that the higher the singles get in the Hot Rock chart, the more likely they are to enter the Hot 100 or 125 because both charts measure airplay, sales and streaming. But I haven't been paying attention to iTunes charts and stuff

Yeah, I'm so happy about that. Still Breathing is a meaningful song (in my life too) and I'm glad it's doing so well. It's like a part of me is being played on the radio.

Comparing its performance to other singles - we need just the official Billboard chart - as MysticManiac already mentioned here, SB is by far the most successful non-lead single since 21 Guns, and we're talking about 8 years ago. A huge amount of time. Besides this, the song is going to be the first non-lead single to top the Alternative chart since Holiday. Again, a lot of time ago, 12 years. This has been achieved only by 4 GD masterpieces: Basket Case, When I Come Around, J.A.R and Boulevard Of Broken Dreams.

The good thing is that it's still increasing in spins. Also on the Triple A chart it jumped 21-14, meaning that next week the probability of entering the top 10 is very high. Considering the 10th of February as the "Impact Date", I think GD released SB well before that deadline in order to reach as much airplay as possible before the "official" physical release. This could mean that SB has a lot more to show us and that would be great.

Now, the next person who says SB is a failure should check these information first.

Why in anyone's name would you pay 165.00 for ONE SONG!!!!!  Is that the only copy in existence or what?  I mean, if it had an unreleased track on it or something I'd MAYBE spend 30-40 bucks to hear that but it's "Still Breathing".   By itself.  165.00 dollars.

It says "impacts on Febuary 10th".  Wonder what that's about.

IMO the physical single will be officially available on February 10th (Impact Date). On that day the price of the article should decease drastically.

I'm still wondering how somebody owns that CD yet? Did GD just release like 5 copies now and are intending to release the rest in February?
