Still Breathing, charts update:

  • #1 on Rock Airplay
  • #3 on Alternative Rock
  • #4 on Mainstream Rock (+1)
  • #12 on Hot Rock (+2)
  • #28 on Adult Alternative (+2)

Again, the probability for Still Breathing to chart #2 on the Alternative chart next week is really high:

We just have to wait. :)

Also Revrad is greatest gainer on rock and alternative albums. #75 on bilboard 200.

I was thinking about that too!
I don't even think it is considered a single here in the Netherlands. After Bang Bang they've been playing Revolution Radio a lot. But I haven't really heard Still Breathing here.

Wow! #75 is a big gain considering it wasn't even on the Billboard 200 last week. I think the Troubled Times lyric video might've been responsible for a large number of people discovering and buying the album. TT should definetely be a single. I can't think of anything else that would've caused such a large gain. On the Top Album Sales chart, it is currently at No. 20, up from No. 83 last week. This is great for the album!

Are their physical singles of BANG BANG and Still Breathing out there?

Bang Bang, yes. B-side is the same live recording of Letterbomb that .was also included on Awesome As Fuck. Still Breathing still nothing, which is a bit worrisome.

YouTube updates: The Troubled Times video has 1.2 million views after 2 days and Say Goodbye had 3.2 million. The Bang Bang lyric video is approaching the 12 million mark, Still Breathing has accumulated 9 million views and Revolution Radio's counter stands at 6.5 million.

Guys, good news: Still Breathing is now #1 on the building Alternative chart, since is gaining much faster than Blink-182's She's Out Of Her Mind. Hopefully it will chart #1 next Tuesday on the Billboard one.

This is definitely what I was waiting for.

Wow.  I haven't really been following Blinks new album and just checked out the vid for She's Out of Her Mind.  Catchy tune.  Still Breathing is a better tune in my opinion and, well, thank you for the update @End Of The World   Made me smile on this inauguration day!

If my funky math is correct, the third single will drop around February 25th.   The singles release formula for American Idiot which they seem to be reusing this time around is this:

First single 20 days before the album.

Second single 90 days after the first.

Third single 105 days after the second single.

fourth single 93 days after the third.

fifth single 134 days after fourth.

So an album gets about 400 days after its release to be promoted. If you include the lead single, 420 days total.

Glad we're still in the early days of the Revolution Radio Era:   It won't be over until October 5th, 2017!

Remember this!  On that day, we can start talking about ALBUM 13!!!!!!!!

To stay on topic though, I think we'll get

Revolution Radio and Ordinary World as the next singles.   Then uh.....it's kind of a toss up for fifth single.   I've done enough speculation here, I won't even guess which song could be the unreliable fifth single.

(fifth singles are:  She, Jesus of Suburbia, Last of the American Girls)    Fifth singles are rare, and only come from very successful albums.....so.....we shall see.

We had a crazy amount of lyric videos, I don't see them doing more then 4 singles if each single has their own music video

Really hoping for Troubled Times as the next single.

Maybe it won't be the next (the probability is for Revolution Radio), but GD would be stupid to not release it as a single. Absolutely.

Boring, lack of depth track. Much rather have another song as a single and just have Trouble Times with only a lyric video!

Wait, do you mean 'bad' as in it's good?  Like ya know how some people say 'yo, that's sick' and it means it's bad which means it's good.  So bad as in not good or bad as in good?  I'm getting too old.  In my teenage days we'd used to go do drive thu's, order our food, and at the end we'd talk quickly and ask 'for a large cup of water with a lot of ice but not so much ice that there isn't a lot of water'.  Funny, huh?  Well, at the time it was so blah.  Peace and Love.

Awful, Blink's worst album ever imo

I wasn't a big fan of the whiny guy, now that he's gone though I just find the music even worse. Now I kinda miss that guy now. Was never hardcore into the band though except in the 90's up to Enema Of The State, after that I got into other stuff I guess. Anyway, sorry off topic.

Given how successful the video has been and how it seems to have impacted album sales, I'd say that you're in the minority here. Troubled Times has been one of the standouts to every non-fan I've played the album to.

I assume by whiny guy you mean Tom Delonge. I don't like his voice, especially on Neighborhoods. I listened to Neighborhoods once, recently and it was so boring and hard to get through

California, although kinda generic is easy and fun to listen to. Haven't listened to that much Blink (just started recently) but I like the new album, don't like Neighborhoods at all and like some of the stuff before that (although I haven't heard much before that)

Song is extremely mediocre if we are talking about the song by itself being sent to radio and stuff as a single. I am perfectly fine with being the minority here, always have been always will be. Should just stay as a lyric video :P
