That's fine, isn't it? At least this time they're getting some airplay, because I don't recall them getting much with the trilogy. What I don't know is how Bang Bang is doing in charts? Is it doing well?

Promotion seems great now. They're announcing additional shows and appearances on tv/radio, and I'm sure they'll announce some more between their NY and California shows. It's all so exciting!

Maybe they'll do Ellen when in LA.  Unless she's angry with them for canceling the last time.  But I really hope not.

Why does everyone care about a performance on Ellen so much?

@lizziebix She really likes them. She's friends with Billie and/or Adrienne, isn't she? I think she'd let them give it another go. I'd love to see them on there, it'd be cute.

@DookieLukie Because Ellen is really cool?

She has a huge following.  On TV and twitter.  She's very popular and marketing people like to book their people on popular shows.

I just can't imagine who her audience is. Her show is too early to watch unless you don't have a job or don't go to school. So stay at home moms?

You can find a lot of videos from her shows on youtube so anyone can watch them

Or dads ;)

Also this. I'm not even in the US but I know Ellen would be a huge deal. It's less about her show and more about her specifically I think - she's really popular.

Looking good! I'm expecting Still Breathing to pick up steam at some point. I know sometimes it takes a while for songs to catch on, though.

It will catch on more after Friday since it wasn't a proper single with the same promotion Bang Bang received.

I don't know why everyone thinks they've ditched the plan to make Still Breathing a proper single. They have to give the time for Bang Bang to get attention on mainstream and so far it's been working great. I think Still Breathing is going to be the next single little bit after the album is out and they've done some promotion. After that I could see Say Goodbye and/or Outlaws as a single. I don't see other songs to be strong choices.

I agree - I think they're still going to be pushing Bang Bang on the TV and radio promos. Social media etc know that Bang Bang is out but they need to promote it to the wider audience first before releasing the album and then SB promo will start properly.

"Still Breathing" was used heavily this weekend and Monday on ESPN and ABC's family of channels as a bumper coming in from and going out to commercial breaks during football games and other sporting events. Both the normal version and an instrumental were played.

Metallica played a few songs on Howard Stern last week. I presume Green Day will play a few too. It's a good opportunity to promote both Bang Bang and Still Breathing.

100k sales in the first week is it possible?

The most they've sold in a week was 267k I think, for American Idiot. So I doubt it'll be that much. Uno sold 139,000 in the first week. Hopefully this does better

Anybody know a free place to listen to Beats 1?

iTunes or Apple Music app. Don't have to have a subscription.

Does that Howard Stern show have many listeners or some kind of "fan base"? I mean is it any popular?

He is the King of All Media.  His fanbase is enormous.  He is the person that made Sirius radio what it is today.  He left regular radio, took his fanbase with him and that is how Sirius vastly increased their subscribers.

I guess he is not popular in other countries, but he is huge, huge, huge, huge, huge and I mean huge in the US

FYI, I am a fan as well.

I've already said this, but he is one of the best interviewers ever.  He can get a great interview out of almost everyone.
