jordanlolss
I think the main reason there seems to be such a divide in the opinions on this album is due to its diversity. I wouldn't say it's inconsistent like some are, it's just varied. Almost every song is a different 'style' of music, but is still held together by that signature green day charm. It's really hard to completely judge an album after only one listen, but I think you guys need to stop being so quick do dismiss an album just because it's diverse. As far as I'm concerned, this is a great album, and it really shows off GD's ability to successfully craft different styles of music. I think it's great. Stefano Bras
After 3 listens, holy fuck. I admit I was overwhelmed at first by the variety and how different from other albums Revolution Radio is but I truly love this album and I can't really find any fillers. Damn, Green Day. I missed you so much, Thank you.

I downloaded it and listened until the first line just to make sure I downloaded the right thing, then I turned it off. It's the middle of the day, I feel like I should wait until tonight when I can listen completely without distraction. But this is ALL I'M GOING TO THINK ABOUT. I said I was going to wait until at least after tomorrow's show. My willpower is nonexistent. Good luck! I hoped I'd do that when I first clicked on Somewhere Now but failed miserably

Nowhere Man
I am having multiple orgasms from Somewhere Now. It's brilliantly executed. Would be epic live. WHen The Who meets Green Day it's always amazing (Quick one, Homecoming, now SN). I also really love that this album has some Beatle-esque vibes. Billie Joe is one of the best songriters of his generation.
Fuzz
I need to give it some more real listens. Except for a few, nothing really jumped out at me as being really exciting. But I think that's mostly because it's not what I was expecting. I need to give it some listens and soak the songs in for what they are. It's not the fast punk pumpass album I was hoping for. But it does sound really good.
