Also the title on Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, it seems that the world is assuming its official when there is no confirmation from GD. xD

Not sure about the title, though. Feels kinda like a really generic Green Day-phrase, but maybe it'll grow on me.

Just saw an article on Diffuser, Rob Cavallo named as producer.

They're assuming that based on the Rolling Stone interview with Rob around the HoF time. Just because he heard some early demos doesn't mean he's the producer

If the Tre account is indeed fake then it must be a very knowledgeable troll considering the account tweeted out Revrad back on February 20th.

hasn't #revrad been a thing for a while now?

So what musical direction do we all hope Revolution Radio is gonna take? We know Bang Bang is going to be fast paced punk, but there's plenty of room for the rest of the songs to be more experimental

Maybe it'll be an album with lots of variety who knows.

I am slightly disappointed that this is the name rather than it being a surprise, but I suppose it is quite cool that GDC guessed it correctly so fast :P

It's a decent name, not one of their most spectacular but not bad either, sounds cool enough and if it means the songs are full of revolutionary passion then great! I do kind of hope there isn't a "changing radio stations" thing though, it's been done soooo many times before so if they are going down that road I hope it's done in an original way.

What "'changing radio stations' thing"?

I'm so worried about revolution radio, because i really loved the trilogy and i hope there will be some experimental songs on rev rad. But they said that rev rad will be a dookie-like album and i didnt love it as much as the trilogy.

NO one knows what Revolution Radio is like, except for insiders.  Two reviews said that Bang Bang was Dookie-ish

I like the Trilogy too.

I can be never disappointed, but I hope that they will continue in the lineage of the trilogy, But I trust them and I know that that will be awesome!!!

Who said it's gonna be a Dookie like album?? I think we can't  be sure about this yet. I mean, just because that DJ said ''Bang Bang'' reminded him of Dookie doesn't mean the album will be Dookie like. It's just one person's opinion, maybe when we finally listen to the song we will even think he was wrong who knows.

http://diffuser.fm/ sorry was moving at speed, hope this works

That isn't a confirmation that Rob is the producer.  They have just rehashed old information and put a spin on it.

I want them to go all out on this record, some stripped back punky songs but interesting song structures.  21st century bd distortion. No vocal filters, few different instruments like piano, strings. Brass. Heavier stuff like east jesus nowhere, before the lobotomy , horsehoes, geek stink breath etc.

I'm assuming the idea behind "Songs for the Deaf" by Queens of the Stone Age, there's radio static and commentary between some of the songs. And there was a little bit of it on 21CB too.

You're young so I'll cut you some slack, but liking the trilogy more than Dookie is sacrilegious.

Not sure how I feel about the title, it's alright but it sounds so... plain. I just hope we get some songs that aren't the same old thing again

I would really love to see this record blow up...
400k sales in the first week would be pretty awesome!

I just have to ask. Is Trilogy the first thing you heard from Green Day? Are you a fairly new fan? Have you listened to their older sruff? Just wondering.

Like, the sound of flicking through radio stations, clips of different radio shows and static etc in between songs.

I discovered green day with american idiot when i was in elementary school, and i loved it

since american idiot i always listened to green day, and grew up with them, but my musicals tastes evolved. And if i really like all the green day songs, i really loved the trilogy, mostly DOS.

I like all green day song as much the one as the other one, but differently. I like american idiot for its spirit rebel, dookie for its energy and the trilogy for its ambition

Yeah, seems like article is making assumptions based on Rob hearing early demos

Whoops, sorry. I basically just said the same thing you did. Not being a copycat, promise!

I'm just so ready for an in-depth Rolling Stone article/interview about this album.
