Second favourite son
That pie chart excites me. Not to mention 'possibly the best bass note ever'. Can't wait for this album.

Dakke
Damn, Outlaws is actually a multi-part song. I expect something along the lines of DRB and/or something Who-influenced. It looks like Ordinary World will remain (mostly) acoustic. 7 minutes ago, Second favourite son said: That pie chart excites me. Not to mention 'possibly the best bass note ever'. Can't wait for this album. You have to wait 2 tracks=bass line on Revolution Radio? Also, 10% movie soundtrack anthems, with Somewhere Now being a Who-ish anthem, we might look at something Quadrophenia-like. Bouncing off The Wall and Forever Now are the sole tracks we know absolutely nothing about.
Libertine Angel
Multi-part punk opus? I'm intrigued.

What note is it supposed to be then?? It's a solid bassline (when you can hear it), but it doesn't sound like anything that special to me. Yes, things were messy in 2004, but the end only came in 2008). Also, where does Billie sings 'I put the riot in patriot' in Revolution Radio? I no longer trust this reviewer The bassline doesn't even sound that spectacular compared to other things he's done, it serves its purpose but it's hardly anything noteworthy (no pun intended ), compare it to Sassafras Roots and it's just not a particularly interesting bassline except for that one tiny bit right at the end.. Other than that, my only hope is that there's an album version with this supposedly legendary note after Bang Bang, in between the two songs. Dakke
Some of these early 'reviews' are totally bewildering. I remember that radio station begin August stating that BB sounded like early nineties GD, which wasn't true. I don't think this invalidates the whole article, but it's not up to par with the RS and Kerrang features.
CrimsonArk
Really hoping that the second half of the record isn't noticeably worse than the first half, given that Bouncing Off The Walls, Too Dumb To Die, Troubled Times and Forever Now have all been pretty much sidestepped in terms of track descriptions. Makes it almost seem like that they aren't particularly noteworthy, and that's a pretty significant chunk of the record right there. Also, that reference to Troubled Times above the pie chart makes me feel like the hook of that song is going to essentially be the bridge of 99 Revolutions repeated over and over again. I REALLY hope that's not the case, because that sounds like the laziest shit in the world lol 19 minutes ago, Libertine Angel said: The bassline doesn't even sound that spectacular compared to other things he's done, it serves its purpose but it's hardly anything noteworthy (no pun intended ), compare it to Sassafras Roots and it's just not a particularly interesting bassline except for that one tiny bit right at the end.. I'm assuming that he's referring to the bass solo.
Chin for a Day
If it is done properly, Ordinary World probably has a shot at Billboard Top
WhiteTim
Could be no one talking about the last half cause they haven't heard it? Sometimes labels only play selected tracks to reviewers when it's far from release time

It's an album review, and we've already gotten references to the fact that people have heard the entire thing. Also, this reviewer apparently heard Troubled Times, so he must have heard the rest. Maybe those songs just aren't anything special? Would suck if that's the case, since that's literally a third of the record right there lol

Maddie86
hmm, so this article says there's only one song that's under 3 minutes, but a tracklisting i found on google says that both Bouncing Off The Walls and Youngblood are both under 2 minutes. Seems like this was definitely poorly written/researched. I feel like Bouncing Off The Walls is the song we know the least about, and I also wish they chose another title because it just makes me think of a Sugarcult song
