Someone knows whats up!

Seriously though, it's so silly to assume an album won't be creative or interesting based on song titles, which have no bearing on the actual quality of the songs.

So not even the staff of this site can stand anyone possessing even a dissenting opinion of the band? I realize that this is a fan site so the majority of the people here are going to likely be the most die hard fans you could possibly come across, but sometimes this place is fucking embarrassing to the degree in which posters here attempt to stomp out any conflicting opinions.

Ha, you clearly don't know me. I think most of 21CB is a pile of shit. How's that for a conflicting opinion?

I guess this is what happens when there's really not much else to talk about. Ugh, I wish the release date was sooner!

People have said that they're worried about the song titles being less creative... I'm just saying I don't think people should be less excited about the album based off the names of the songs. :)

What's happening? I left this site ten days ago, and now it's pretty different, at least the backgrounds and stuff.

I agree about the hate for the simplistic song titles. Think of Green Day's all time hits: Longview, Basket Case, When I Come Around, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life), American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends, 21 Guns, etc. A lot of those are unique and memorable. They almost add another element of coolness or attractiveness to the song. Yes, not all Green Day song titles are cool, but those same songs also do not stick out amongst the others. Even if "Still Breathing" or whatever is a hit, no one will remember that song purely based on name in 10 yrs like they do with Blvd. or Wake Me Up.

We were worried about the title "bang bang" too and when I first heard it It made totally sense. So I think every title will be perfectly fitting to each song of the album...

Did you forget that this is Green Day Chat? People get butthurt about everything.

I take a fence of that. Btw, don't try and take that as being accidentally stupid.

I like one worded titles I hate when bands try to be cool by making song titles extremely long like Panic at the Disco or FOB that's annoying.

Anyone have any idea why the CD version of Revolution Radio is now 18.98 on Amazon? It was 14.99 and then it spiked up.

Still £9.99. The annoying thing is the import isn't available here.

Weird. In the States it reads 18.98 so I have no idea why. Unless it's some special edition but I highly doubt it.

Even when it was $14.99 there, it was more expensive than it is here since £9.99 = $13.12. The Japanese import would cost more but has another track because they always have one.

Well with Amazon the cd usually drops to 9.99 by the CD's release and no matter when you pre-order, you get that price. I'm hoping that happens again this time.

Song titles don't concern me as much as the song itself and how it is presented and whether or not it flows through the album. I mean shoot before warning, Green Day didn't have a song on their album with the same title as the album title.  Now they do.  Didn't technically make the album bad.  When I first saw the track list for warning on here back in the day, I thought hold on was going to be a fast tempo song.  And it wasn't.

Any word on real song lengths now?   I'm want so bad for a song that's at least 9 minutes 19 seconds but I'd prefer it to be 10 minutes+.   They kept calling JOS and Homecoming '10 minute songs' but in reality , they were both just over 9.    Lame.  This is Album 12, make it 12 minutes.   It's possible that Green Day will make the song lengths whatever wikipedia says they are.   So somebody give me a 12 minute song.

We only have Forever Now for the album to come out.   HAHA   see what I did - above poster stated...ah well never mind.   Umm, as for the song titles...I don't care, I like Do Da Da, Geek Stink Breath, Babs uvala Who....  look in the past, a LOT of song title had nothing to do with the song titles.

A new, original, interview to Billie Joe, about Revolution Radio, from an Italian newspaper, the biggest one as far as I know. It contains new details about the album and the "political" process behind it. I'll try to post a complete translation in the next hours.
