Yeah, but they are on different albums because they aren't connected.

But different albums. That's like saying deadbeat holiday and holiday are connected.

Well the trilogy can be considered 1 project or 1 collection of songs. I'm just saying one common word doesn't mean they're connected. They could be but I don't think they are

God, what a faff about that was, trying to order the vinyl album from the official site. After it telling me I did not have an account , (even though I had a note of my password etc from last time), then having to set up another one, Whoever designed their order page??? Whatever you typed came out in caps, even if you enter lower case (ie email etc), then when they show you the confirmation, all the caps are in lower case and it looks totally stupid with name/ address /post code like that (like you can't even type properly). And it was £4.98 shipping, whether you picked courier or standard. Oh well, at least it accepted my order, wasn't sure how ltd the red vinyl would be.

Just hope the quality control is better than when Demolicious was pressed - I got a copy with black inclusions on the clear vinyl on one disc, and the insert had been torn/crushed in one corner.

If you ordered both, were you charged 2 lots shipping??

I was curious to read a tweet from GD's iHeart radio takeover that they have two love songs....the two that Billie said were Ordinary World and the other was Youngblood.  In the snippet on GDA, from the Kerrang article - they say a standout lyric from Youngblood, the love song, is 'Fuck you I'm from Oakland'.  Also stating the Young blood is 'jubilant and vicious'.   I'm looking forward to that love song.

Really? Nobody is curious how YoungBlood is a love song after what Kerrang mentioned?    Hmm...  I'm just damn curious I guess.   Oct. 7th can't come any sooner, huh?   grrrrr.  I hate time but also love it because I need it every day.  I'm a TreSexy Contradiction.

As long as you ordered both in the same order, then it's just one shipping charge.

Still annoyed that I never got to meet you b/c you're so infamous around here now

You know, I think the hype around me has faded mostly. I get lots of rep now and people seem to like me. But next concert...gotta arrange something.

To an extent it does. If people hate you, they probably won't "like" your posts.

Tim you are liked! But yeah I guess if someone is hated they might get less likes because of it but you don't have to particularly like someone just to like their post.

Yes I can't wait to hear him sing that lyric! Does also make me wonder in what sense it's a love song. Definitely the song I'm most intrigued about.

The Japanese Amazon store has the album listed with a bonus 13th track that is still to be determined. Not sure if they're just assuming they'll get a bonus track or if they know they will.

https://www.amazon.co.jp/レボリューション・レディオ-グリーン・デイ/dp/B01K947VC6

It's also available in the US Amazon store as an import: https://www.amazon.com/Revolution-Radio-GREEN-DAY/dp/B01K947VC6/

Ooh! I wonder what the bonus track will be (if there is one)

Devil's Kind? Cigarrettes and Valentines studio version?

Am I the only one who feels weird about the fact that most of the song titles are lyrics to previous songs?

Bang Bang - Holiday

Say Goodbye - Stay the Night/8th Ave Serenade

Outlaws - Holiday

Still Breathing - Walk Away

Too Dumb To Die - Sex, Drugs & Violence

Troubled Times - Hitchin' A Ride

Ordinary World - Extraordinary Girl

I'm aware that these phrases are a bit "generic" in a way. But still, I don't think this has ever happened before with any other Green Day album.

It is concerning. The fact that they're generic phrases in the first place doesn't help either.

I think another C&V song is possible, though Devil's Kind is not improbable either given Ordinary World's presence on the album. I'd prefer it to be a discarded song written for RevRad though.

Totally. At least I'm not too worried considering that the lyrics in Bang Bang are, in my opinion, quite decent. Hopefully they haven't completely ran out of ideas. We'll have to wait and see.

i agree that it's a little weird but it also seems kind of unfair to judge the songs based on that, seeing as outlaws is just one word and bang bang, troubled times, say goodbye, and ordinary world are all fairly common phrases :P

I mean, it's the same guy writing. He's written hundreds of songs and he has his own style and favourite words/phrases so the same ones get used sometimes. I'm not worried by it.

I don't care what the song titles are, as long as the songs are good. And I think they will be.

Always funny when people judge things off song titles. Or even say it doesn't sound like a Green Day title or that they are too simple.

"Still Breathing" does not appear in any previous song. Maybe you're confusing it with "still living" in Walk Away.

"She"  — a perfect example that a song with a shitty title can be wonderful. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
