Will the pre-order offers stay just like that until October 7th? It's a dumb question but I'm not really too much into pre-ordering things so I don't know whether they might add something to the offer in the future or it's definitely gonna be like that till release date. I'm absolutely gonna pre-order the album but I don't know if it makes any sense to wait some more time.

They'll stay and since the vinyl is advertised as "limited edition" I wanted to be sure I got one in case they sold out.

Dyeing your hair blue and wearing cool punky outfits is being "styled" too. They've always had a look that was fashionable at the time (wacky hair colours in 94, gelled spiked hair in 97, logo tees and shorts in 2000, black and red outfits with eyeliner in 2004 - all trendy looks). Obviously everyone can have their personal preference for what looks best on them but they've always had an "image" based on the fashion of the time, their own taste and wanting to present the band with a certain look.

Its totally ok, nevermind

For whatever reason I never listened to ordinary world and now that the song is in the album I surely won't.

It's exciting we'll get a new 12 track album with the very good production of Bang Bang, the cover looks pretty good and iconic, billie is not out of his mind this time and I really have high hopes this will be a very good album.

You said the same about Blink and look how that ended up. Petros say that this album will suck so that in the end it will be good.

well Bang Bang isn't quite Bored to Death is it? there were many questions leading up to California but everything leading up to Revolution Radio seems to be perfect and in its right place. the stage is set for a new Green Day classic!

What about replacing the Kerplunk's poll in GDA and make one asking about what song based in the names are we waiting for?

I'm waiting for Still Breathing and Somewhere Now

it would have been a much better cover

Maybe... I'm still not sure how I feel about the cover.

A lot of things would have been a better cover. This isn't Lady Gaga's Born This Way level of bad cover and I think I like it better than trilogy covers  (not decided yet haha) but it's not special. I like how it makes a clear statement and how simple it is though.

Guys, is Rob Cavallo involved in the Album somehow.
Who is the producer of RR anyways? Thanks.

I still can't believe Jason White has been demoted back to a helping hand.  In the live video on facebook they talk about the "three of us locked in a room for two years" and in the Rolling Stone interview it's "the three of us" over and over.   He's not in the lyric video clip.....I don't know.   Maybe it was his choice but I was thrilled when they made him the official fourth member back in 2012.     I wonder what the real reason is.   The band trying to get back to their roots, he wasn't popular with fans, it was a one off for the Trilogy (possibly because Billie Joe was getting too sloshed to play)......Maybe he doesn't want to be locked into all the photo shoots, promotions, tours, etc. when he might have other projects he would like to work on.   I know he's in about 15 bands and at least 3 of them still do things.

Jason White, if you read this:   I enjoy your work in California, Pinhead Gunpowder, Green Day and I'm trying to get into Big Cats, just haven't had the chance to give it a good listen.  Hope you're well and hope to hear you shredding some chords soon, be it on Revolution Radio or somewhere else.

No he is not, the album is self-produced.

I fully agree, but its just the cover, think about previous Artworks, i'm quite sure you'll find at least one which is worse than this one.

Rob is involved in the way as he's the president of the label Green Day is on but wasn't involved in the actual production side of the album

I hated pink in Trilogy. Now I see the worst cover ever. However, I'm excited about the lyrics book. I love all booklets attached to CDs.

I don't mind the cover but I think that if the management are paying attention but if they are, it would be advised that they take an about turn and get a new cover worked out because it could be the bird shit on the brand new car.

I like the artwork. It's simplistic and reflects the raw sound. Even though i'd rather have the logo on it, like on the lyrics book. I think it's their best logo/font besides 21stCB.

I mean, have we already ruled out the possibility that the logo and the title will be on the cover? I find it hard to believe they won't to be honest.

But why do they display the lyrics book cover with logo and title but not the regular cover then?

Any chance in hell of getting some Mike or Tre lead vocals?  Tre hasn't got to drop a verse in 12 years, and Mike hasn't had a whole verse in 7!   I get it, Billie Joe is the lead singer, but it couldn't hurt to let them sing lead on either a verse or a chorus of ONE song.    American Eulogy is a great track.   Homecoming is an EPIC track.

It's gonna have some bow guitar on it. And maybe even more cool new techniques or instruments they never used before. So I believe there's a good chance Tré or Mike will have some lines.

I am very happy they are self-producing.  The last time they self-produced, we got Warning, arguably their best album.

No logo or title on the cover of the digital release of Bang Bang, so I'm certainly not expecting it to be on my vinyl.  Could well be prominent on the back cover though.

I reckon Mike will take some vocals this time round, his stuff has generally been harder punk so I think it would fit quite well (think Governator).
