More like with Elton John 😄

No absolutely 100% disagree.  I think BOTW sounds like he wrote it for These Paper Bullets, they didn't use it and he made it a bit harder for Rev Rad.  I hear Beatles.

That Youngblood line, "fuck you I'm from Oakland", I think I understand now. I think it's specifically answering Billie's "are you restless?" and it's a sort of defensive reply to emphasise that she's not restless (as if he's suggesting she wants to go home), she feels settled in this new place, and saying she's from here is an exaggeration of sorts to get him to shut up :P

It is Catchphrase-esque :D but I think it's also a way to illustrate that violence is on the rise fast. A bullet in the sky = a bullet being shot upwards. Which is of course very fast!

Thank you for figuring that out! Makes total sense now.

Didn't think of that either, now the line is even better.

If someone posts something they shouldn't you guys could report it instead of just quoting it so there's more posts to delete :P

Could it be possible that I receive my order before October 7th? It said that in one of the confirmation emails I got... Mind you I live in Canada and I ordered the vinyl package so it could take longer??

If someone could answer the best they can? I'm curious.

I really don't hear Beatles in BOTW. Definitely in Youngblood though, especially the bridge.

Yeah I hear it in there and in BOTW too, it's the bounciness.  Speaking of which "BOTW" bothers me, it's too much like the old GDC abbreviations SOTW (song of the week) and FOTW (fan of the week) :P

No worries, just saying it for future reference.

I wish they'd stuck with Concrete Dreams as a title, i always think of the Sugarcult song when I hear Bouncing Off The Wall!

I just wish they made it Bouncing Off the WallS so that the band and I didn't have this wedge between us into eternity.

I doubt you would get it before the 7th, but I am not sure.

They could've at least had the decency to put an 's' on the end!

You're both speaking my language  why they left the S off is a mystery.

I'm also in Canada and also ordered the vinyl, and haven't yet received a shipping email :( It doesn't matter much to me either way, since I'll be leaving to see them in NYC on the 7th so I wouldn't get the mail anyway, but it'd be nice to know when it's coming!

I'm going to drag my kids to see Green Day perform as 65-year-olds going, "This has been my favorite band since I was your age, except for that one time they didn't pluralize a word in a song because they're assholes."

That's so me  I hadn't noticed that yet, but now my inner linguist is angry.

I love how Billie Joe's voice finally returned to a normal pitch, much more like AI's pitch and without any unnecesary autotune or voice effects.
