Well the song titles on the tracklist seems meh to me but I thought the title 'Bang Bang' seemed meh too and that song rocked!

Ordinary World is ok, not that great. Maybe it'll sound different/better on the album though

I like the cover art too

1 year, 9 months, 4 days (between 1039 and Kerplunk)

2 years, 15 days (between Kerplunk and Dookie)

1 year, 8 months, 9 days (between Dookie and Insomniac)

2 years, 4 days (between Inomniac and Nimrod)

2 years, 11 months, 19 days (between Nimrod and Warning)

3 years, 11 months, 18 days (between Warning and American Idiot)

4 years, 7 months, 24 days (between American Idiot and Breakdown)

3 years, 4 months, 9 days (between Breakdown and Uno)

0 years, 1 month, 20 days (between Uno and Dos)

0 years, 0 months, 28 days (between Dos and Tre)

Tre released on December 11, 2012

So Album 12 must be released on or before August 4th, 2017 or it will be the longest wait ever.

As of December 26, 2015 we’ve only waited 3 years and 15 days

3 years, 9 months and 26 days between Tre! and RevRad.   That makes it the 3rd longest wait we've had behind Breakdown and Idiot, which isn't too bad.

I wonder how much different the final version of 'Ordinary World' will sound from this.

I can't believe the shipping on the lyric book preorder is $7.49....  I wonder if it'll be in stores

I dunno if you can tell that much from a live version, could be really different/better on the album.

I was wondering the same thing.  I decided to wait since the vinyl says "limited edition" and the CD/lyric book doesn't.  Makes me think it'll ship for free with Amazon Prime.

for sure! most people don't have the guts to say it though and I think that's what sets green day apart!

Did anyone else pre-order the new album?

It says you get the new single instantly but I still didn't get anything. Or will it be available for download tomorrow? It does say the 12th for the release for the single

I did and I got an email immediately.  The download link was buried in the email.  I had to search for it.  But I'm in the US and I think someone else, not in the US, said they didn't get it.

I need some advice, I don't know if I pre-order the vinyl plus membership or just the vinyl. When I ordered the Trilogy the only valuable thing on the membership was the access to the Jeff Matika Show. What do you guys think?

As much as I hate paying for Idiot Nation (mostly defunct, IMO) the potential of presale tickets is worth it to me.

I was trying to preorder earlier and it didn't work, now I'm glad it didn't because I'm just remembering that when I ordered the trilogy all albums arrived at least a week late  Also I'm going to benefict from free Idiot Nation while I can so I think it would be better for me to buy it in a store the day it comes out, though... do you think we'll be able to find the lyric book in stores?

I don't know if anyone mentioned it or cares, but on Spotify American Eagle Outfitters made a playlist called "Revolution Radio" and it's absolutely unrelated to Green Day.... Odd.

“Of course the world has lost its collective mind… and me, Mike and Tré are lost souls too,” Armstrong said in a release. “Revolution Radio is a movement for lost souls to come together… dance together… sing together… and most of all, find each other. That’s what the spirit of Green Day has been about since day one.”
