Bouncing Off The Wall is kinda irresistible. Not sure if it exactly fits on this record, but it's what Uno should have sounded like.

I fucking LOVE that song. Actually I fucking LOVE the entire album. The only song that really needed a bit of time for me to grow to love is Still Breathing. The rest of the album feels very theatrical and epic and the only reason I'd rate 21cb higher in a list of favorite albums is because 21cb's length while still maintaining the quality and style of the songs. Also AI is still my number one, mostly because im very biased with AI :D

I was considering it up against 21CB as that is my go to album - I think it is too soon.  I think Rev Rad is definitely in my top 4.

Somewhere Now, and then the repeated parts of Somewhere now in Forever Now = perfection

I do think this is the general consensus - or am I wrong.

I'm assuming it must be, it's just so good!

I bloody hope its the band's intention to close with Forever Now on the area tour - its the only way to do justice to its epicness. (is that a word haha)

I'm just wondering, after reading so much about those two songs, is it kind of comparable with how Before the Lobotomy comes full circle with the intro coming back in the outro of the song?
Like, not comparable in sound but in an impressive structure kind of way.

I would say so, coming full circle is a good way to describe it.

All 12 songs are like my new-born babies, I love them equally, but Forever Now is the loudest crying baby, so i give him most of attention, and Outlaws is the quietest, so I notice him slightly less. But they will grow up some time :D

Re-opening this topic to talk about the album. Please avoid posting anything specific about the leak, but you guys can continue to use this thread to talk about the album as a whole.

What even is the meaning of the song?

I believe the song in general is dealing with his pre and post rehab struggles.   I interpret that line to say that he was out of control and heading down the road that many rock stars end up at, dead.  It relates to the saying that all celebrities die in threes.  i think it fits the way it is written, even musically.  Adding another syllable just doesn't fit to me

P.S. This album, like Bang Bang and Revolution Radio, sounds good when you're drunk (tested).

Forever Now is honestly SO fucking good. It's going to be an under-rated masterpiece in years to come. BURNING LIGHTS AND BLACKOUTSSSS

It's without question my favourite off the album.
My favourite lines are:
"If this is what you call the good life, I want a better way to die"
"I want a new conspiracy, and the silence of a thousand cries. So hurry up, I want a better way to die"

To Dumb To Die is a perfect example where the band could go but sadly didn't. If only the whole album sounded like that. The song is a mix of Trilogy, Warning and Dookie. I like how the theme of the song connects with Sex, Drugs & Violence.

Ha! Nice way of putting it. Though I have 3 young kids (Bang Bang, Revolution Radio, Still Breathing) that so far got all the attention and I have to try not forget them as there are 8 newly borns came in as well as 1 kid from another relationship. That'd be Ordinary World as she was around, but I didn't know her so far.
Out of the 8 newborns Say Goodbye and Forever Now are the ones that take all my time. Trying to find time in my schedule for Too Dumb To Die and Bouncing Off The Wall. Still trying to figure out the characters of Somewhere Now, Youngblood and Troubled Times, while Outlaws is given up for adoption.

 Loving this analogy! When I get obsessed with one of the songs it's like their birthday. It's actually Somewhere Now's birthday today - can't stop listening to it!

somewhere now is not good at all. boring song. forever now is alright though, should have made it one song (which i'm sure it actually was in the beginning). what is actually liked about somewhere now?

I like the Who vibes from Somewhere Now, and the way it builds throughout. And the awesome bit about one minute from the end. And "SOOOMEWHEREE NOWWW" is awesome to sing out loud - I've done it in the car, trust me. :D

I really like Somewhere Now. It's a very dense and mature, and it had super catchy parts.

Best song on here.
