Opinions work both ways, GDC

Just because someone dislikes it doesn't mean that they will eventually. It's okay to not like it. I'm actually feeling pretty underwhelmed about Somewhere Now

First, very rough lyrics, but better than nothing, we can work with them :) .

Somewhere now

[Verse 1]
I'm running late to somewhere now I don't want to be
Where the future and promises ain't what it used to be
I never wanted to compromise and bargain with my soul
How did life on the wild side ever get so dull?

[Chorus 1]
I've grown up in [?] on my [?]
I put the riot in patriot and we all die in trees/threes

[Verse 2]
I've got a seat in the middle of the road, I'm gonna take my time
I shut the lights so I can [?] at the speed of life
I'm like a drone way up in the sky - I'm a shooting star
There's a soldier that's freaking out, be as this since roar

[Chorus 2]
I've grown up in [?] on my [?]
I put the riot in patriot and we all die in trees/threes
I only [?], a new catastrophe
In comes [?]
It's a small price we pay, when we all die in trees/threes

[Bridge - 2x]
Somewhere now
Somewhere now
Somewhere now

[Outro]
[?] found my soul
[?]
Congratulations, I found myself
Somewhere now
Somewhere now
Somewhere now

Say Goodbye

[Intro]
Say goodbye to the ones that we love
Say goodbye to the ones we love
Say goodbye to the ones that we love
Goodbye to the ones that we love

Say goodbye to the ones that we love
Say goodbye to the ones we love
Say goodbye to the ones that we love
Say goodbye to the ones that we love

[Chorus 1]
Violence on the raise
Like a bullet in the sky
Oh Lord have mercy on my soul
[?] sing
On the sick and suffering
The city on damage control
This is how we

[Chorus 1]
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh

[Bridge]
Sing the line to the cops on patrol
Sing the line to the cops on patrol
Sing the line to the cops on patrol
Say hello, they're the ones in control

[Chorus 2]
Teach your children well
From the bottom of the well
Oh Lord have mercy on my soul
Hear the children sing
On the sick and suffering
The city on damage control
This is how we

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh

[Chorus 1]
Violence on the raise
Like a bullet in the sky
Oh Lord have mercy on my soul
[?] sing
On the sick and suffering
The city on damage control
This is how we

[Outro]
Say your prayer for the ones that we love
Say your prayer for the ones we love
Say your prayer for the ones that we love
Say goodbye to the ones that we love
Say your prayer for the ones that we love
Say your prayer for the ones that we love
Say your prayer for the ones that we love
Say goodbye to the ones that we love
(This is how we)

Outlaws

[Verse 1]
Life after youth
Faded in twilight
The dawn of a criminal in bloom
First love
First forgiveness
We were delinquants
Freaks of a faded memory

[Chorus 1]
Outlaws
When we were forever young
When we were outlaws
We're outlaws [?] maybe
[?]
We destroyed suburbia
When we were outlaws

[Verse 2]
Outlaws are forever
Scars, broken hearts
Breaking in cars
Running in the light of the moon
Lost souls
Bottle rockets
All that we wanted
It's for our lives beyond stars

[Chorus 2]
Outlaws
When we were forever young
When we were outlaws
We're outlaws [?] maybe
[?]
We destroyed suburbia
When we were outlaws
We're outlaws all forever maybe

[Bridge]
I've got no simple [?]
Never will change my spirits
Race around with my innocence
I'll plead my innocence
[?] when we were young

[Chorus 2]
Outlaws
When we were forever young
When we were outlaws
We're outlaws [?] maybe
[?]
We destroyed suburbia
When we were outlaws
We're outlaws all forever

[Outro]
I found a knife by the railroad track
You took a train and you can't go back
Forever now, forever now you roll

Bouncing off the wall

Concrete dream - hey
I'm gonna make a scene - radio
[?] gasoline, sleeping in reverse
And everybody's bouncing off the walls

[Verse 2]
Arms away - hey
It's just another day
And I don't tread
The secret of the day
I wouldn't sweat it
And everybody's bouncing off the walls

[Verse 3]
Concrete kiss - hey
Come on and do the [?] - radio
My little [?] and I'm getting pissed
And everybody's bouncing off the walls

[Chorus 1 - 2x]
'cause it's all that I want
And I want to be free
I got Satan riding next to me
'cause we're all bloody freaks
And we'll give you the creeps
Chasing fireflies and zeroes

Youngblood

Youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
She's my little youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
[?] youngblood

[Verse 1]
She's a loner
Not a stoner
[?]
Supernova
Cherry Cola
She's the cedar in the trees in Minnesota

I'm a rough boy 'round the edges
Getting drunk, [?] fallen in the [?]
She's my weakness, fucking genius
Swear to god and I'm not even superstitious

[Chorus]
Youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
She's my little youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
[?] youngblood

[Bridge]
I want to hold you like a gun
We'll shoot the moon into the sun
Alright, alright

[Verse 2]
Are you stranded?
Like I'm stranded
Do you want to watch the world fall to pieces?
Are you broken?
Like I'm broken
Are you restless?
She said: "Fuck you, I'm from Oakland!"

[Chorus]
Youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
She's my little youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
Youngblood
[?] youngblood

If you go into this album expecting a super fast, stripped down punk record, you're gonna have a bad time. Try going into it with an open mind for something different. It really is a great album. It's just different.

We get it. You don't like it. but give the rest of us a chance to form our own opinions.

I didn't think I would like Say Goodbye when it first started but now I'm really digging it. It's  so good!

I enjoyed my first listen.

I love this album. It's very different than all the other albums. Too Dumb To Die might be my favorite song on the album. After a few listens, this album will probably be one of my favorites. Not a song I would want to skip. Ordinary World sounds a lot better on the album than the live version in my opinion.

How the fuck is Seagull gonna sit here and say the trilogy is better than this album? Hahahaha.

He will do anything for attention! It's actually a little sad, but also really funny

I'm open to everyone's opinions bar yours to be quite honest with you, you've acted like a massive cunt this entire thread.

After the first listen-I enjoyed it. Was jamming on my own as I listened on my headphones.

Somewhere now-did not expect that. Holy sht. Say Goodbye also surprised me.

Bouncing Off The Wall-yes. Just, yes.

Youngblood was alright, although I do admit I let out a small laugh when I actually head the "Fk you, I'm from Oakland".

Was confused about the beginning of Too Dumb to Die, but it was alright.

Don''t exactly know how I feel about Troubled Times yet.

Forever Now may have been my least favorite, but it's still ok. I think I was expecting more diversity in a 7min track.

The studio version of Ordinary World is simply beautiful. If anything, I am now more excited to hear it live the second time around after the Tribeca Film Fest.

Will be giving it a few more listens by the end of today, and certainly over the next few weeks.

My impressions after my first listen are that it's totally not what I expected. It really doesn't sound like any of their other albums. But I think I like it. It'll take a few more listens to digest everything. Can't really name any favorites as of now besides Still Breathing but there aren't any songs I dislike.

Wait until the shows kick in, then RevRad will feel real.

RevRad definitely feels real to me! I'm basically in a state of happy-shock, but it's real. So real.

For those saying they'll just end up listening to their faves—I mean, isn't that the case on every album? Sure, I like to listen to a lot of albums front to back, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't skip a few tracks on most albums. 21CB is my all-time favorite album, and there are a good four or five songs I typically skip when I give it a listen. Doesn't make it a less awesome album just because I don't care for a few songs as much as the others.

The only song that doesn't have any stickiness to me right now is Bouncing Off the Walls. And I remember liking it on first listen, but my memory is taping over that track with the ones I immediately adored. There wasn't one song on this album that I was like, "Nope, don't like it."

But this is usual, since I'm on this forum, I never saw a positive thing from your keyboard 😁

Oh, come on now. This is Seagull we're talking about. The same guy who will repeatedly tell you how much American Idiot sucks and how amazing the trilogy is. Don't agree with his opinion? He'll just keep repeating himself until you acknowledge it.

Ok this is different, listening to Outlaws. I didn't expect a song about their troubled youth to be a slower type song. It's different but ok.
