There is some 21CB vibe to the album and I think BANG BANG will be a catchy political track ala Know Your Enemy. Remember, both American Idiot and Know Your Enemy were the most catchy and 'boring' songs compared to the other songs on respectively AI and 21CB. Yes, but after the lukewarm reception of the Trilogy, I think they'll stay away from the Trilogy in most aspects. History has proven that every Green Day has a distinctly different sound and theme compared to its predecessor (particularly post-Insomniac).
