Even if I don't agree with them their music compensates me for that. I hope not. They always sounded like some social justice warriors who tried to act all cool. iltrenta
The title doesn't sound too good but it could work if the song is somehow ironical, I mean, if the lyrics aren't too preachy but still make a point in a clever and ironical way.

When a thread goes too far off topic a mod will say something, no one else needs to worry about it. 6 minutes ago, Sixtrix said: That's the exact opposite of how they come across. It's funny not knowing if "bang bang" refers to something fun or something serious/gun related. Very intriguing title.

If its frontier touring then they operate in New Zealand as well so one would assume that a NZ Tour/Show would be part planning of such a tour. Last time NZ missed out to my understanding more because Green Day were playing Soundwave and the organizers don't do anything in NZ and when I asked I was told if one touring company already is bringing an act out another one won't attempt to add shows to that tour. And as we know 99% of music acts touring NZ are done as a stop on a Australian tour and not a stand alone NZ tour. Yeah i knew it was because of Soundwave that NZ missed out. I think that sometimes people need some fun and sometimes some politics. While the Trilogy was released I wanted something fun. Now, as Polish government is terrible and or economy will be in trouble I want something political event if it's about USA. Green Day lyrics can fit to different nations and communities. OK, there is something I don't want - anti-corporation songs.

Lacky
I like the title, and I don't understand when someone says "It's not a GD title"...WTF does this mean? If you read the title "Holiday", it's not a deep title, but the song says something different. Bang Bang looks intriguing and catchy, and I have full faith in Green Day and in BJ's ability as a songwriter. Let's wait and I'm sure we won't be disappointed! Dakke
I don't think we should too be concerned about the album title before hearing the actual song. Both Holiday and Know Your Enemy were rather boring titles which had been used by major artists before (Madonna and Rage Against the Machine respectively). It's about the lyrics and the music. Dakke
Another observation, Billie says 'Stayed Tuned', so I assume we'll get more album information before the single release, possibly with a title and artwork.

I think this is almost "obvious". For example, Red Hot Chili Peppers published their new songs on their YouTube channel with the artwork and the title of the new record. I suppos that GD will publish "Bang Bang" on their channel too, but I don't think we'll have an official video, at least for the first weeks after the release.
