yup. warner music put a copy right claim on your video

What copyright haha. It's not even the same song. So now you can't even make parody songs anymore.

YouTube takes videos down as soon as a copyright claim is filed. It's up to the uploader to challenge it, if it's unjustified.

I think you have room for a claim against them according to the YouTube rules :D  At least I used the let yourself go music video for my joke, there are no copyright reasons to shut down your video.

Anyway I think it's self evident they're preparing the ground for the single release, removing all the videos that could steal them views.

If Ordinary World is on the album I will buy the album, eat it, and upload video proof to GDC.

What format will you be eating?  I'd like to see vinyl, though cassette could also be fun to watch.

Parodies are allowed under copyright.  Whether your song was even a parody is another question... Maybe it was too close to the actual song!

someone just reupload this song to youtube:

My account is blocked. Let's see if Warner will taking it down.

I really hope their marketing team will promote the hell out of this single this time around. Really seems like they're getting the internet ready for the release of the song

CD or Vinyl? If it happened, I'd happily buy it and ship it.

Let's not forget digital, eating a USB stick or hard drive could work too.

Is 10/7 confirmed for release date?

It's possible, lead singles tend to be released 2-3 months prior to the album. The 7th is also a Friday, and I'm pretty sure there's an industry rule where albums are released on Fridays now.

Can someone fill me in? I missed the last 25 pages.

- Has an official album name as Revolution Radio been confirmed? By who?

- If we are choosing to believe it, who first announced/leaked the 10/7 release date (other than allmusic.com) ?

- Should we expect to see more youtube videos and accounts deleted, in the same way that Warner stormed through a few years ago?

1) It was found in the site's source code, so no announcement but yes.

2) I think that's the only source we've got on that.

3) Probably.

1.) yes, Revolution Radio as the album title is pretty much confirmed thanks to digging someone did in the greenday.com website code.

2.) Not sure, sorry. I'm not choosing to believe it, but we'll see.
