12 is a perfectly reasonable number of songs

I don't mind 12 as long as all of them are awesome

If there is more than 14 songs, I hope there will be a lot of variation of sound.

I sure hope so.

If you listen closely you can hear the GDA staffers recording a new static noise podcast

Four years ago we had 37 songs, I think we will be fine with 12 songs this time :P

Speaking of static noise, if Revolution Radio is in fact the album title, I wonder if there will be static noise in between each song just like on 21CB

We're not recording a show today. I think we'll wait a little longer. Either for the single to come out or right before.

Are you a gay guy? Otherwise, it's quite the feat convincing me.

Considering a ton of songs have already been named "Bang Bang", Green Day would be in deep shit if you weren't allowed to use the same name. They're fine and if the album title is the same as that site, there's nothing revrad.org can do about it.

I don't want to get into a technical spat on here, but there's a bit of a difference between a term like 'Bang Bang' and 'Revolution Radio'.. I have a small company, and we have to register names with the province/state that we are using the name to make money and invoice our customers with, and checks can be made payable to those names. If we wanted to request a name like 'Bang Bang' it would be declined because it would be too generic.. We would have to register something like 'Bang Bang Productions' .. see what I'm saying?

A name like 'Revolution Radio' could be legally registered by a company, and likely is in the case of that website/podcast. So Green Day could have a legal case against them in whatever states that name is already registered to, but it's unlikely the people who own that name would give a shit, and if anything, might help them drive traffic to their site.

I just think if Green Day are going to be making money off the name 'Revolution Radio', and these guys wanted to be dicks about it, there could be a cease and desist ordered against Green Day in whatever state that name is registered, or, they'd have to pay them off to use it.. And especially if the song/album is political because the website/podcast is political.

I'd bet on the latter.

If it is a dumpster fire, can I come watch? There's something very soothing about that imagery.

as if! there are loads of albums that have the same name as companies or something like that.

By the same reasoning .... Green day would have been sued for Un by the company that make the UNO card game and for Dos by Microsoft because of MS DOS.

Like I said, I don't want to get into a spat about this lol! But.. 'Un' and 'Uno' are not the same, and you couldn't register the name 'Uno' on its own anyway, and 'MS DOS' is not the same as 'DOS' 🤗

I doubt that tracklist from earlier is legit, I'm willing to 100% bet it's fake.I'm definitely stating the obvious, but far too many people have pointed out titles lifted from the lyrics of other GD songs for me to take it seriously at all :P

If there was even a chance of getting sued for using a certain title, I'm sure they would have consulted an attorney beforehand. They've been in this business for almost three decades, they know what they can or can't do...
