I'm incredibly excited that "Scattered" may be on the tour setlist--it's possibly my absolute favorite GD track. Now, if only they'd play "Horseshoes and Handgrenades" and "Restless Heart Syndrome" as well....

Seriously?! :woot: Dang if so, I can't wait to hear that one live. If I remember right, Scattered has had very few live plays, which is a shame, it's one of their best songs, in my opinion.

The setlist seems like a tour set list. And I am so excited about the photos they are posting on Instagram!

So, RevRad is turning out to be a song at last. Who else thinks Rev Rad somewhat = JoS kind of thing?

And Andres, the lightning bolt looks fab! :D

Ooh, I hadn't thought of it as a Jesus of Suburbia type thing. That'd be cool! The title comes off to me as reference to Billie's Foxboro Hottubs character 'Reverend Strychnine Twitch'. I wonder if they're planning on making it another concept album?

SUDDEN EPIPHANY!!!

What if this isn't technically a Green Day album or wasn't meant to be? what if it's meant to be another side project?

#mynewband makes so much more sense in this context.

(I guess though Warner has already started publicizing it as a green day song, though...)

Nah.. They wouldn't advertise it as a Green Day song and then switch it right before it comes out. I honestly think Billie including the hashtag is just because he's trying to get more people to notice/use it. Like, whenever he makes post about new GD he knows a lot of people will see it and go, huh, what's this hashtag mean?

I think it was also his movement to encourage people to jam together

Edit: started here:

The setlist is exciting to see! Walking Contradiction!!! And I hope there's a "Brutal" before that "love".

I think RevRad is short for something and they are not telling us the whole name yet because it will be the album title!

I agree, but I really hope it's just Rev Rad and all the speculation about what it's short for was for nothing

I remember someone saying the term Revolution Radio and I think that would be an awesome album title!

It's not a side project. It's definitely Green Day.

Nooo I don't want it to be one that was guessed, it's already boring to me now and I'd prefer a complete surprise title :P. I suppose it isn't a bad one though.

Yeah they'd never try to make fans think a side project was Green Day and promote it like this, that would be both a shifty thing to do and very disappointing for a lot of fans. The whole point of side projects is to be separate and secret.

I didn't like Revolution Radio at first but it's really grown on me and I'm (hopefully not wrongly) 99% sure this album will live up to such a dramatic title. I hope it's that though I agree with Hermione that something we'd never have guessed would be amusing :P

I'm pretty much convinced it'll be called 'Revolution Radio'. Sounds like a title the Clash would use and we all know how much they love the Clash...

Anyway, someone said that saw a "c" after the title "Say", but it also could be a "(" , a "g", a "u"...

Why does it say Bang Bang x 4? What are they gonna play Bang Bang 4 times in a row?

I suppose that they're improving their new songs live, for the upcoming tour :toocool:

That's a weird way of rehearsing, setting beforehand how many times they are going to play each song, but I suppose it's possible. My guess is that it's the times the chorus/ a certain part of the song is repeated.

Oh well, I would listen to every leak, makes the decision easier whether to buy the album or not...  and sure, it will be the best stuff they ever made. ;-)

Maybe they want to play it multiple times straight withought pauses. It can work better for them then doing it once then being like: "good but again, again, again, again"

they've played the same song on early tours and secret shows multiple times. Didn't they play Nuclear Family like 6 times on the secret show where Amy leaked from?

Exactly, they must learn it to play it live in their better way!

I don't know, can't remember no matter what. FBHT for sure played Fuck Time many times during one show but i don't know if Green Day ever did that. Hearing the same song six times seems a bit too much. (Not saying it's imposssible.)

Yeah but I think that's usually more spontaneous. I agree with others it's more likely they're just planning to rehearse it multiple times in a row to get good at it.

Anyone in the Orange County/Los Angeles area? I've heard 98.7 hyping the release of "Bang Bang" every day and I've heard absolutely jack crap from 106.7. As usual, 106.7 shows their bias against Green Day. They'll play the occasional Dookie song now and then, but that's about it.

There's another song in the setlist that begins with Say and it's cut off. If that's not a new song, I can't for the life of me think of any songs that begin with Say

gosh i hope not... then thwy might aswell sing the bangidy bang song
