I keep reading "team rocket" when I go to the site.  There are a lot of details there - hope for all you guys it is a fake site.

it probably is not legit, but even if it was, there will be more tickets on sale later on other websites for sure

Australia is the dream ugh :(

Are you going to America at all? I really want to get to California if I can make it work with when I'm free (or not I mean I went to NY for one night I'm sure I can make it work regardless lol)

Japan is my dream for this tour

If they only do US this year I won't be able to make it. All the plans are up in the air until they officially announce stuff hahahah

Sorry I should add; it's an alt rock station in Detroit

Americans anyone else heard anything on their local radio station.

The latter station I doubt it's GD, cuz it seems like a more pop/electronic station?

@AlissaGoesRAWR would know

I've been at work all night and haven't been keeping up with this thread... what is happening?! Recap anyone?

PromoWest doesn't manage any large venues, so I'd be really surprised if this was Green Day-related. I believe their largest venue is a 5,500-person amphitheater.

Confession: I don't listen to the radio so I'm not in the loop. :(

I just looked it up, it is a dance station.  They play artists like Rihanna, Drake, etc.  So I agree.  I think it is a good bet that that announcement is not GD.

I see a few other stations tweeting similarly about an announcement on Tuesday... so we have stations in Columbus, Miami, Ontario, Chicago and Detroit so far? And if Miami is a pop station, they're the only one... the other four are rock stations...

I'm so starved for Green Day tour news that I'm letting myself get excited/nauseous... and the fact that there's a Columbus station involved is making it worse. :sick:

I got my hopes up for a second for Milwaukee to get a show.  FM 102.1, the rock station in Milwaukee tweeted today about a concert announcement, but it didn't say anything about it being on Tuesday.  As I looked on their page they are announcing the Big Snow Show, which is a three-day mini-fest, but they did have Weezer and Panic At the Disco as the headliners for two out of the three days last year.  It's at The Rave, which would be a cool venue for them to play, but it seems like too small venue and I doubt they would do this festival.  I'm so hoping for a Wisconsin show this time around, since they were going to play in Green Bay and Madison for the 99 Revolutions Tour.

PromoWest's website says they've produced events at Schottenstein, Nationwide and the Shoe, so maybe this would be a similar situation? WTF WHY DO TWO OF THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS HAVE TO BE IN SOME OF OUR CLOSEST MARKETS?! THE NEXT 32 HOURS WILL BE NERVE-WRACKING... AND THEN WORSE IF IT IS THEM!!!!!!!

I'm probably reading too much into this, but Cal & Co.'s announcement background sure has an interesting color scheme, huh? :ga:

Tuesday morning sounds very possible to me, now it seems like there's a theme going on with things being revealed at 7am on radio stations :P
I still hope we get some more info today though.

Good point! A radio announcement seems in line with the promotion style they're doing so far :P But it probably won't even be Green Day now that we've all got our hopes up that it is -_-

I'm hoping they announce a Scottish date! It's been 6 years since they were last here and I don't think my poor student ass could handle going to London again, both financially and mentally :P

Hoping they go for smaller venues this time around? Then again seeing them hypothetically in Edinburgh Castle would be pretty cool so :whistle

I think they will go for smaller venues this time. On the last tour here they played at a stadium, I doubt they'll be able to see that many tickets this time around.

I would love a Welsh date! last time they played here was literally so long ago that i think it was 2005 or something, but alas we dont have a big arena or an 'in-between' sized arena/stadium venue, so tbh i might as well just accept ill have to travel.

the prospect of then touring and actually sering them this time makes me so happy, even tho ill probably have to travel to birmingham/london

If tickets really do go on sale next Friday for the not-yet-announced tour, I'll be ecstatic. I have every Friday off and I won't have to scramble on my phone, buying tickets in the work bathroom or at a coffee shop with sketchy wifi. :P

Things really seem to be shaping up for a fall U.S. tour, too... I knew there was a reason I hoarded my last 5 vacation days. :shifty: #roadtrip #outlaws

Oh god, there isn't anything more stressful than trying to buy tickets on your phone! What a relief that you are off!
