Warner could not totally substitute the band doing promotion, but at least they could have advertised Dos! and Tre! more profoundly than they have. You can't put all the blame on Billie for the commercial fiasco that the Trilogy was.

I also realize how harsh that sounds not meaning to be harsh but Billie bears the majority of the blame) You can't blame a company for not wanting to invest a huge amount of money in something they don't have an artists to tour do interviews for they did print ads and I even heard radio spots for all three albums don't forget Warner has to make back what it's spent on the recording of the albums plus promo

Exactly. I wonder if this is the first time they have asked outside their circle which song should be the lead single. 50 minutes ago, WhiteTim said: No wrong Billie is to blame for the lack of visibility after Iheart promoting albums without bands are high risk promoting albums properly costs hundred of thousands to millions of dollars money that isn't a guarantee to be made back even with an active band (21st didn't get out of the red until a couple years after release) Im not sure they knew what was going to happen with GD - a lot of people lapse after rehab.

The band, especially one as established as GD might hve a say in it, but ultimately it is the record companies choice

Yeah they did, I thought it was pretty good and it didn't lose much from not having the swearing. I've never heard it bleeped/silenced, only with those alternative lyrics. And "hold him underwater til he suffocates and drowns" is really even more graphic than "hold him underwater til that motherfucker drowns" so it still had plenty of bite.

Hermione
I enjoyed F-woo Time . Don't think it was actually on the radio though, I think someone just made it for fun.

I'm from NJ, Fuck was my first word.
Beerjeezus
There's so many great musical moments in Cuatro. I love the tapping part in Fuck Time, and the versions of Nightlife and Loss Of Control. That bit of music when Billie plays Nightlife in the studio is fucking perfect.

I understood better why they thought the Trilogy would be one of their works. When listening to the album versions of many Uno! and Dos! songs, however, I'm left with disappointment.

They kicked ass. I was so excited for the Trilogy. If they did stuck with the sound they had in Cuatro I'd love it.

Dakke
I'm sad they never bothered to perform the majority of Tré! live. It's only Brutal Love and 99 Revolutions and occasionally Little Boy Named Train. Walk Away and DRB at the least should make an appearance in the future.
