They'll probably just play 5 shows in Germany and U.K. again because fuck rest of Europe. :P

Are you talking about 2012?

I didn't really get why they did so many promo shows in Germany. Sure, I was a happy girl because of it but still it was kinda weird. Probably to compensate in advance because in 2013 they had this contract with the festivals rock im park/rock am ring which forbids them to do any other shows in Germany in the same tour leg as the festivals.

And in 2013 they mainly did festivals throughout Europe. Of course the flair of a Green Day and support only concert is the best but tbh I'll take any festival over no Green Day at all.

I'm also waiting for official news but between news it's nice to think about possibilities. :P

Nah I'm just butthurt because the last time they played here was in 1998.

Ah I see. I just looked at your profile to find out where you live. Hmm. And what about the Triest show? Were you there?

I can totally understand why you're butthurt but tbh compared to other regions (India for example) you can still easily travel to the next Green Day concert, it's not that far. I bet they will return to Vienna or a similarly close place where you can go to on the next tour. :)

Well, I just asked @jeffmatika on Twitter about #revrad ->

And he replied ->

For what it's worth I replied "hype troll!" to Jeff's #revrad tweet and he Liked it. He didn't do that with any of the other replies. I think he knows something and is just being coy.

Maybe he didn't want to make a mess like Mr.Freese made.

It probably won't matter when they tour for me. It would be my very first time seeing them live, but I may not be able to get time off from  work anyway. Especially if it's mid week. Plus I would have to travel 3 or more hours in any direction to see them and can't take that much time off.  Sorry for the negativity but thinking about it bums me out.

Can you guys make sure you stick to the topic of what Jason said/the possibility of a tour in this thread please? If you want to discuss the new album and Green Day being in the studio in general use this one:

I'm excited but I'm also not because it's quite likely I won't make any shows at all this time around due to my impending joblessness/school situation. A new album will be grand either way though!

Plus I may be hitting my parents up for a loan to pay for taking Microbiology this summer or next summer and it would look bad for me to ask after having spent $$ on Green Day tickets lmao. It's probably a poor way to spend money anyway since I've already seen them live a ridiculous number of times.

Can we start a gofundme for you? I'd hate to not be able to meet up with you this time!

If they come to Rochester, Binghamton, or Syracuse I'll probably break down and go, I'll just get super cheap tickets. This time you have to swear not to hide from GDC'ers though!!!!

Albany would be okay, too. NYC and Pennsylvania is too far though :(

Hmm... Depends on when it is. I would go as far as Albany and down to PA for Philly, not both though, that's a lot of travel. I'm still intimidated by NYC, not going there :P

Hey those are my venues too :D!!!!   And I'm willing to do NYC, it's not that hard.

Edit: And I'd do Albany, my sis lives there.

I don't think so. I've never seen them. I forgot about Wilkes-Barre, that's doable too.

For some reason I thought they hit Syracuse on the AI tour, but they definitely didn't, that was Binghamton.

I'm not surprised they've never done Syracuse, it's a complete shit hole.
