The sign say Khachaturian on it. Aram Khachaturian was a soviet Armenian composer who died. So maybe they are going to see a dead composer.

That must be it.

An orchestra performing the songs Khachaturian composed seems very unlikely.

Everyone keeps saying it's going to be tomorrow. Then when tomorrow comes and goes, someone else says it's the next day, or the week after. Eventually someone is going to end up being right and they'll be so pleased with themselves.

I hope they go full Wu-Tang with this thing and sell the only existing copy to the highest bidder.

Yes, and that's not a sign, Billie is holding the piano part...it's a trio for clarinet, violin and piano. Maybe Billie Joe has been taking piano lessons again :)

I think they are just toying with us this point. Trio is obviously referring to violin, piano and clarinet and to them being with three. They're just hanging out together, which I am inclined to interpret as that they are taking a well-deserved break after a busy recording period. It could also point to these instruments playing a significant role on the album. These observations aside, has anybody any idea where this picture was taken?

Looks like a hotel lobby. Perhaps in London?

Plausible, given that Mike's wife was at Abbey Road Studios two days ago.

I wonder I read some comments, will Billie fill in for Joe Perry?
Is it just a coincidence that they are together? will Green Day perform with alice cooper?

Yeah, calling him Billy Joe is just plain obnoxious. As for a joint GD-AC performance, I'm not sure whether to put confidence in that or dismiss that. They could be doing something together, but I doubt a concert will take place before the start of an official tour.

That picture is from October of 2014 when Billie Joe and Alice did Little Kids Rock together to honor Joan Jett

You guys think they could incluse *some* recording footage on Turn It Around? Or release them together? I mean, I see them building a small studio themselves (didn't they?) as a way to recall their roots and the film is about the scene they're from. Oh well...

Oh sorry I missed it! I wonder what they're doing with it!!??? This is exciting! Maybe they're using part of it like they did with the vocal melody in Brutal Love?

If they sample Khachaturian I might suffer a spontaneous combustion. Or my record player.

I don't want them to sample, that is a Fall Out Boy thing, I want them to be inspired by

Me neither, but the mere fact that they seem to be interested in new, different and even surprising kinds of music is very exciting. I agree finding inspiration is much more valuable than borrowing from others - there is no doubt about this.

I'm excited because if this indicates something, then it's that they have found inspiration in a new style of music, explored a new territory and that's what I was hoping for. We've got a few clues but they include: a brass section, what I still believe was an accordion/possibly piano, picture with a Gogol Bordello member, picture with Will.I.am and sheet music of an Armenian composer. Provided that at least some of this bears some significance to the album, all I can make out of this is that they took inspiration in new, unexpected, and at least for their genre unexpected places. It's making me hopeful.

Of course, I might be reading up into it way too much and it means fuck all .
