The vinyls for the trilogy didn't nor the other albums that I know of

edit: Tune In Tokoyo came with one (altho it was the wrong album lol)

Ahh that sucks...  Thanks though :)

My 21st century breakdown vinyl didn't, but I was hoping that increasing vinyl popularity would have meant they did for the trilogy.  Oh well.

I still have £10 set aside on my iTunes account just in case they drop an album/single suddenly without telling anyone :P

Well the new one may have one as vinyl sales have only gone up since the trilogy release

I read that the other day - for some reason I want to buy this release first on vinyl.

This was a very cool tapping solo. I would very much like to see something like this on the upcoming record. I wonder why Billie didn't keep it on the actual track, though. I want more solos on the new songs in general. Not really anything crazy fast or stuff that involves sweep picking, because I'm not sure that putting metal solos in GD's music would fit very well. Just solos similar to that one from Cuatro and earlier material on 1039SO/SH. I mean, if Billie could (HEAVY emphasis on the could, because I don't believe Billie to be one of that breed of guitarists) play virtuosic solos like, oh I don't know, Jason Becker, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Marty Friedman, or even Glenn Tipton, I'd be totally into that as well.

That would be me then - it was creepy.  Having said that I loved Oh Love it used to play at the same time everyday when I got off the train.  There was a lot of hype for Uno here & I have said it a million times that if iheart/rehab had not happened the trilogy would have done well.

I don't necessarily think the video was creepy.  But, I do agree with the rest of the post.  Oh Love was constantly on the radio and getting alot of hype.  Howard Stern would talk about how much he loved it.  Then after iHeart everything stopped

I've been spending too much time in this thread. Last night I had a dream that a friend working at a record store showed me a trilogy B-sides/alternate takes double album, and I ran here to post about it. Can't remember the title, but it was three words, one of which was Honor.

Took pictures of the front and back, with a close-up of the words "NOT a new album - 35 minute record coming soon!" One of the "new" songs was called Lumineer.

By the time I was done, two other people had already posted about it and my thread was locked. I don't usually have vivid dreams like that.

This place is driving us all insane.

It could have been Lumiere, but a song about a Beauty and the Beast character makes even less sense.

Lumiere is the french word for light, it could be a tribute to the recent Paris events ! Wait, I think we're going to far here...

The only other ones I can remember were alternate takes of 99 Revs and Carpe Diem. The whole thing was like Demolicious on steroids.

Hey I wrote down the cigarettes and Valentine's tracklist in my dream on my phone once then woke up and wrote down what I remembered on my phone. I forget the song name I remembered but I told @Todd about it

It is not actually in the show, they play it during the encore.

Kerplunk and dookie are similar ...insomniac is mature, dark, serious which dookie is not much. If anything, insomniac gives me the feeling none of other albums in the world does. And the lyrics are the most special lyrics for me.

We all have our own Nimrod I guess.  (Nimrod is my Nimrod, lol).

It wasn't that bad, only 3 1/2 years. Plus we got The Saints Are Coming, Working Class Hero, and Foxboro Hot Tubs in that time. So it really wasn't all that bad compared to now where it's been 2 1/2 years and all we've gotten was the Christmas song.

There were lots of projects between Billie being an Idiot and Breaking Down, but it was longer than 3 1/2 years.   More like 5 years.   This time seems worse because it's in the present, but we've had stuff this time around too.   Demolicious, American Idiot Movie, Foreverly, No Pleasing a Woman, Lonely Island, Billie Joe's 5 star acting.....Green Day hasn't left us out in the cold since 1986.   But yeah, painful times.    Too help with the hurt, here's to show they've done at least one thing a year for the last 30!

•1986 – formed

•1987 – a few shows

•1988 –  a few shows

•1989 – at least 19 shows

•1990, smooth

•1991, rereleased

•1992, Kerplunk and toured through

•1993 (toured kerplunk)

•1994, Dookie

•1995, Insomniac

•1996  “Brainstew/Jaded” and “Walking Contradiction” on radio.

•1997 Nimrod

•1998, “Redundant”, Touring

•1999, Touring, “Nice Guys Finish Last”

•2000, Warning

•2001, Tour for Warning and Greatest Hits

•2002 Shenanigans

•2003, MoneyMoney2020, Private Hell and SuperMarket

•2004, American Idiot

•2005 , Bullet in A Bible

•2006. The Saints are Coming and played one show

•2007, Working Class Hero, Simpsons

•2008 – Foxboro Hot Tubs

•2009, 21st Century Breakdown

•2010, American Idiot Musical Soundtrack

•2011, Awesome as F***

•2012, Trilogy

•2013 – Cuarto, “X-Kid”

•2014 – Demolicious

•2015 – Heart like a Hand Grenade, live performance at Geezer thing, Xmas Song

•2016 – Billie, Jason and Jesse Malin played New Years Show, Tre does Motley Video, in the studio working on new album
