Since I don´t know when some of you will be leaving for Cleveland, and before I forget or miss it: Have fun, every single one of you! Most important: may all of you pass the ticket check! :) Have a good time, meet, drink, eat, sweat, scream, laugh, hold up signs, ruffle BJ´s hair :ga: , and give the boys a good time, too! :runaround: And I want detailed reports when you´re back! :)

Haha, and it obviously gets me so excited myself that I wrote it in the wrong thread. Belongs to the Cleveland 16th, of course. :D

Tbh, I recognize Mike and Tré, but I can hardly see any similarity with BJ...

That's because he was sober while the painting was being done.

I rather believe the painter was drunk...

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions: Ranking all 30 classes (1986-2015)
28. 2015

Inductees: The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Green Day, Lou Reed, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Bill Withers, Ringo Starr, The “5” Royales

This year’s class will grow on you. Green Day is the clear headliner, as one of the biggest rock bands of the last 25 years. But you also get long time snub Stevie Ray Vaughan, the final Beatle to be inducted as a solo act in Ringo Starr and the act that has had the longest wait in history to be inducted – The Paul Butterfield Blues Band.

Joan lived in Rockville, Maryland, for some time in her youth, so it could be a "local" story?

If you guys are in town on Saturday & not going to Hall of Fame, come see Billie's friend Jesse Malin at Beachland Tavern!!

They're giving away free CDs to people come from the Green Day HOB show :) New record is so good!

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2015: Inductee exhibit creates the connection between artist and fan (review, photos)

One of the more poignant exhibits in the display that focuses on the pop-punk band that made it into the hall in its very first year of eligibility is a "what I want to be when I grow up'' school assignment written by a 9-year-old "Billie.''

He had it all mapped out -- a band by 15 (which, maybe not so coincidentally, is when he and bassist Mike Dirnt formed their first band), stardom by 20 playing "really lowed,'' then superstardom and traveling the world by 29. Of course, like all good kids, he DID have a backup plan -- a football player who wins championships.

This is awesome! I wish I could see it!

Good for Billie that his plan A worked out!

Now that's a man who decides what he wants and damn well does it.

Yeah! Like I decided never to raise a family, neither to have a career nor money. And? It worked out! :D
