OK, I know this is not GD related, but there is information starting to leak for other artists. Tommy Shannon, Jimmie Vaughn, Doyle Bramhall and Gary Clark Jr will definitely be playing with Double Trouble. They will be playing Texas Flood and Crossfire. I wonder if they are only getting two songs, or only decided on two songs.

Hoping GD stuff starts to leak.

Has information about who will be inducting other artists begun to come out? (Besides Paul McCartney being there for Ringo)

Been a while since I've kept tabs on this band but, are Jason White and al sobrante getting inducted as well, or is it just Billie, Mike, and Tre? I know Jason played on the trilogy, and if Robert Trujillo, and Josh whoever from rhcp got in with minimal contributions, I don't see why Jason can't :shrugs:

Just curious is all. The rnrhof is weird about who gets in and who doesn't sometimes...

Only Billie Mike and Tre even tho Tre has jack shit to do with the album that's making eligible for entry...

It's a bit wonky, I admit. But obviously John Kiffmeyer has jack shit to do with the reason they're actually getting inducted, so it balances out in the end

The rock hall rules say that they have to have been on an album that was significant, which tre has been. But the hall seems to change the rules as they see fit

Notice rock hall is using 39/Smooth as the album to get them in...

But you're right they make up rules at will

39/Smooth is the album that started the clock, that's all. It really isn't what got them in. Tre has been involved in their significant work. But again, they have used different logic with different groups.

Yep

Not that I'm mad bout it or think Tre shouldn't be in cause he should not downgrading him

But like last year they told Kiss only the members who were on their first album could be inducted etc but how come that same year with Nirvana Chad couldn't be inducted using the same rule they pulled on Kiss? Oh he wasn't a member only Dave can be inducted in like what Chad did more in Nirvana than Dave did 90% of Nevermind was Chad... Their mentality of bending rules is just aggravating its like why even have rules in the first place

I'm sure Jason will be there no matter inducted or not. Billie will give him the recognition he deserves.....

Yeah sure, but jason has played in the band for 10 years, and probably play at green day for the next 10 years as well, so it is somewhat unfair... , i don't know if jason cares this much.

The rock hall has a "side guys" category or whatever... may some day Jason can get in off of that  If Green Day continues to tour and make music, that is.
