Just to confirm it does appear to be Beezey. Anyway back on topic. I love how Tre was basically the swear machine here lol. Mike and Billie were a little bit more reserved shall we say haha then again Tre is a mad bastard!

Congrats Mike Dirnt & Green Day - Youngest RRHOF inductee ever!

Our very own Mike Dirnt and Green Day were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...well, duhhhh! What took them so long? BTW, Green Day is the youngest group ever to be inducted. We are very proud of you, Mike, and look forward to making up a Shakin' Jesse for you upon your return home...Cheers!

I feel like this should be a way bigger deal.

Also, there goes my Rudy's craving again. Gotta get back to the Bay.

I've never been to Rudy's but I've read the menu and I damn well want to.

I thought so too, why didn't they emphasize how much they accomplished at such a young age.

I mean, they're probably the biggest band in the world who started at 16, which gives them an edge. I can't think of many who could break this record in future, or at least no one who would realistically get inducted into the HoF. If Bieber gets in, I swear to God

The Shakin' Jesse is truly wonderful. I've tried to replicate it, and failed thus far. Luckily, my dad lives in the Bay area, so I always find an excuse to visit Rudy's every time I'm there.

Yes, they started young, but how many bands could put out the quality music they did when they were still young enough to be throwing spit balls at their teachers. I think it is amazing what they have accomplished from the start. I was really surprised it wasn't at least mentioned more. If Bieber gets in than the rock hall really is a joke.

Obviously I haven't seen the induction ceremony yet, besides a few piecemeal videos, but I feel like nobody mentioned it. Seriously, "youngest band ever to get inducted" is a headline and a half.

The rock hall is a joke already, honestly, madonna's fucking in there

Awww, it makes me smile to imagine Alex in my neck of the woods! Do you get your Rudy's fix in Emeryville or Oakland?

It depends! If I'm with my dad or my family, we always hit up Emeryville, cause it's easier to get to in a car, but if I'm out on my own in SF, I try and go to the Oakland one. Do you have a favorite? Cause I honestly can't choose

^This guy and I only hit up the Oakland location for the first time last week. I reckon Emeryville has more of a family atmosphere, while Oakland's customer base is largely the adrift staggering in after shows. There's a time and place for both! ;)

I recently ate at the Oakland one and didn't get that vibe at all. I mean, given, it was a Monday around noon, but it seemed to be mostly people on their lunch break, couples, or just people meeting up for lunch.

It occurred to me earlier today that they took my fries before I could finish. I, for one, am never returning to such an establishment.
