I mean if we get a new album, they're obviously going on tour again. Maybe just a few shows in 2015 and the bigger ones the year after but most likely they will do the small clubs again, too. So either is really exciting. The odds of them cramming both into 2015 just seems unlikely, since the band has sort of fallen off the face of the earth, post-trilogy. Not saying it's impossible, but it just doesn't seem likely that there's enough months in the quickly approaching year to announce an album, release it, promote it, announce a tour, begin a tour, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pretty standard. I agree it seems unlikely there'd be an album and tour in such a short time but you really never know with this band, the amount of time it takes them to do things seems to vary a lot and they're good at surprises. I know it didn't exactly all go to plan, but if they stick to just 1 album this time and no other problems occur, recording, releasing, and promoting a new album and beginning a tour next year could happen. I would have thought that if they were to start recording in February then the writing process for the album should already be finished but Billie did talk about writing new songs and what he wants to do next (think it was something like American Idiot but with a live/dirtier sound?) in his post-rehab interview so maybe he has finished the writing process.
