I'd love them to go on as a band, but I just felt like it made no sense to keep believing they would. However, this vague sign makes me hopeful that I am wrong. Although I do have a sneaking suspicion that Billie, Mr. Reliable, did this based on his own wishes for the band and completely forgot that Mike and Tre are both DONE with Green Day. If I'm right, even more controversy and friction is stirring in Green Day Land. Also, this could mean anything. Maybe the hashtag #greendayforever was meant as a memorial for Green Day. A "gone but not forgotten" of sorts. Also, Billie likes to hype things like a teenage girl on social media "This [Trilogy time period] is the most creative we've been in our entire careers."
