pacejunkie punk
Did anyone else spot Joey in the front of the crowd in the hotel room party scene? It's great how he got the kids involved in the project and Joey and Jakob both contributed songs too.
IcyMoffatt
The first time I watched the movie, I didn't realize it was Joey who catched Billie. When I rewatched it, I was like «Is that Joey?». I checked online to make sure it was him. Many scenes in the movie are great, but if I need to choose just one... I don't know... maybe when he got arrested. Everything in that scene is so exagerated. I don't know why but I love the quote from one of the two dads tells him after the other one welcomes him in the dads' club (when Billie is inside the playhouse): «We accept criminals.» XD By the way, does anyone know which hotel was used in the movie? The real Drake Hotel in NYC was destroyed years ago.

Bought the movie on iTunes recently and have watched it at least half a dozen times. it's so cute but especially relateable for someone over 40 (ahem). Billie's got great instincts I'd like to see him take on more roles he keeps getting better. What are everyone's favorite bits/scenes? I like a lot of the one on one interaction he has with the characters, like with Judy Greer in the bedroom and his brother talking about the store. He's also great with Madison he's so good with kids. The scene where they break up the party and he gets arrested is funny. Just a sweet feel good movie. I wish Devil's Kind and Body Bag were available to purchase. Why are they not on iTunes or Spotify and there should be a full soundtrack available. Your fave is My fave scenes.. he does have great chermisity with All of the actor and actress..in the film about blu Ray..did you check Amazon? I love the scenes he's in with Madison though. He really is amazing with kids. yes..that is one of funniest-bust-out-loud-laugh-scene.."I don't need a coaster!" and "is she stripper? NOOO!!..she going to read the bible to Us" and "Maybe she is someone else daughter?" I can't!"

Still have to pay for the clearance to sell the music from Billie's label like say you're making a album you get Billie to play guitar and sing with you Billie agrees does it but in order to legally release the song you have to get a clearance from Reprise who can charge you whatever amount they want from nothing to a million bucks without paying and getting the label clearance legally you couldn't release the song with Billie on it like the movie A League To Remember which starred Madonna she recorded a song for it "This Used To Be My Playground" used in the movie but the label wouldn't allow it on the movie soundtrack

So Reprise has exclusive rights to anything Billie records and unless you know you're going to profit off the sales, it's not worth paying the fees. Bummer. I guess that explains how Ordinary World got released on a Green Day record then. Does that mean Reprise could decide to release them themselves on some future compilation someday or the songs just die? Shame because Devil's Kind and Body Bag are killer songs. Yes or if the makers of the movie do decide to ever do one they can obtain the clearances
IcyMoffatt
Here is the french trailer for the movie. I tought you might want to hear it even if you don't understand french. French being my first language, from what I can see in the trailer, I can say the dubbed version is horrible. It feels like the voice actors didn't even try to do a fine job. Plus, I don't know who did the translation, but why using french expressions/words nobody uses anymore??? It was dubbed in France. But it is still funny to hear Billie Joe «talking» in french with a voice that isn't his.
Lilly89
I totally liked the scenes with Salomne and him. But when he said next to her when he talked to her after her show I would have loved to see him hug her or give her a good night kiss. That was something I would have loved to see. They didn't seem that huggy a family though, not every family is. The pushing the glasses up thing was more of an affectionate, familiar gesture like you can imagine that's a thing they do. Lilly89
Yeah you might be right. But to Billie it would have fit more to hug his daugter (my opinion) I also liked the scene where he is grabbing his little son from the crib. You could see that he has experiences with babies and toddlers in this scene because he has kids in real life and on his own. Just how he carries him tells you all. Lilly89
You didn't get my answer. It would have been typical for Billie to hug his kids. I don't think that he would treat them the same way as Perry Billie is not Perry.
kkpojpojpj
I finally got around to watching this last night. Not my type of movie at all since I don't like predictable feel good movies. With that said, I was actually fairly impressed by his acting and the movie wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I also thought about this a lot, lol
