"Ordinary World" movie starring Billie Joe

Just watched this and it was actually a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Billie's acting was actually genuinely good for most of the movie (I actually saw him as Perry and not just Billie Joe Armstrong by the time the movie ended), and the music was great. There were a few parts that fell flat, and the characters could have been fleshed out a tiny bit more, but overall this movie surpassed my expectations a lot. Not the best movie of the year or anything but definitely enjoyable, I'll buy the Blu-Ray when it comes out.

Which song was Fever Blister though? I only recall Devil's Kind, Ordinary World, and Body Bag in the creditst

When Billie....I mean Perry is working at the hardware store with the letters, did anyone else see that they had TRE and JIMMY written out with them?????

Also, even though I work in a big box retail store - it was a very realistic depiction of hardware life.   When his brother asked him what was on aisle 10, I found myself guessing things like "furniture movers", "door knobs", etc.

BANG BANG

Fever Blister is the song that the band was playing when Billie tried to throw the tv out the window

You know what I find irritating? Having to wait a century for a film to be released in my home f*cking country! Seriously, what's the holdup?

From now on, at every green day show, we have to throw coasters on stage at Billie.

I was expecting him to play himself in some weird alternate universe fanfic of a movie (and in some ways obviously did), but by the end I was like "Huh, he actually played a legit character who was different from him!"

Watched it this afternoon Billie was good as were the other actors but this was predictable as hell either Lee Kirk is just a lousy screenwriter or he doesn't trust the actors/audience enough to go further but whatever it was an ok movie

Never mind, it's on YouTube.

I really enjoyed this movie, it's the kind of thing I wanted to see Billie Joe do before taking on more serious roles, he was funny, relatable and somewhat clumsy. Overall, I think he did a pretty good job, even though I couldn't really stop seeing him as Billie Joe. The music was really good and story was lighthearted and cute. My favorite scene was probably the one with the TV and the window, the derp was pretty fucking hilarious.

Well done, Billie Joe, now lets hope this American Idiot movie sees the light of day, eventually.

I watched this yesterday! Aaaww what a cute, adorable and funny movie. I enjoyed a lot. Billie did a really good job as Perry, I mean at some point I totally forgot that he was Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day and I really love when an actor/person can do that! He was so adorable I couldn't handle it  But at the same time the movie is kinda sad, those flashbacks he had with his band made me feel very sad, and to be honest, the movie made cry like three times lol. I wish I could write more about it, but those are spoliers, right? So I'll just leave it right there :P Oh and the songs are so good, I loved them! I really love this movie, is not a classic or something like that, but is so cute and Billie was so good in it and I'm just so proud of him  I really hope I can buy it at some point.

Just one thing, a thought idk, what is up with the little toy car? He carries that car all around and I really wonder what it means, maybe nothing but I was wondering cause it appeared through all the movie lol.

Just watched this, and I loved it, it's one if those films that I could watch over and over. Billie did an amazing job and I couldn't see anyone else as Perry. Big kudos

Just finished watching it. A pretty formulaic comedy and Billie's acting is still uh... spotty at best. But it was cute I suppose and I enjoyed the songs and It was cool to see him in a different light. Won't see myself revisiting this tbh though.

So did anyone download it from amazon? Or rented it? I've never downloaded a movie there before so I'm a bit unsure about this works. If you buy and download it, do you get it as a file and can play it on e.g. Windows Media Player or do you need an extra program to do it?

I loved it tbh. Don't think it's anything to be taken too seriously or be looked into too much, and film reviewers I'm sure will slate it but I liked it.

I'm not too big of a film guy either so I thought the length was perfect. Cast were great fits too.

And I love Devils Kind by Les Skunks. lol
