I don't know why but my attitude to this film is weird. I know that I won't be serious while watching the film. I will be laughing and picking on Billie. I can't be obiective when I see well-known (for me) musicians playing in films or series :sorry:I'm trying to be obiective but I will always see him as "Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day"...

i was laughing so hard during sunday like rain, his acting is so cringy sometimes but i love him it's okay

I haven't seen the movie....  but since the movie is going straight to DVD...  I'm guessing Billie can't act all that well.  Maybe I'll change my mind when I see the movie so I really can't talk shite...  but the Illuminati has bought Billie and now he really can't focus on the REAL NEWS.  It's the puppets that read teleprompters.   Billie gave real news on the song American Idiot.   Illuminati got scared because he had original thought....trilogy came out and now he's focused on acting.  This album will prove that he's in a secret society.   Wanna play dentist?  It seems you have a cavity that needs to be filled.

Yeah, he's definitely not the best actor in the world. The only performance he did an amazing job in was Nurse Jackie. His performance on Haunted was decent. Everything else is meh.

Perfect trilogy song lyrics right there. 10/10. Should be a single.

Kind of disappointed that they changed the name. Nothing would be more amusing to me than a poster of Beej with the word GEEZER slapped right across his body.

Also bummed that it's going straight to DVD because my bf works at a movie theatre and gets to take home a lot of posters. So it would have been cool to get one of those.

After reading a bit about the movie itself, I can't help but think that he was born to play the part

Have you seen this film??  I have and I thought he was adorable and charming, perfect for the film.

It is not being released straight t DVD, it is a day and date release which means it is being released to all media at the same time it is released to the theater.   That does not mean it will have a huge release, or even one at all, but you may find it in select theaters.

Billie Joe's acting wasn't cringeworthy at all. He was pretty natural in this movie, since he was so well cast. He really is very charming in it. My husband, who is  purely objective, enjoyed the movie quite a bit, and he was pretty skeptical going in.

Is this gonna be released in the UK? If not where can I get it?

It is being released to all formats at the same time.  You should be able to purchase the DVD and/or stream it on the release date.  I think someone posted a link that Amazon UK has it up for pre-sale

I think I'll enjoy this one more than Like Sunday, Like Rain.  That movie is my kind of film, but Billie distracted me and instead of enjoying it, I kept waiting for Billie Joe to appear.    He's the star of this one, so I probably won't have the distraction factor this time around.       Watching Like Sunday because you're a Green Day fan is like watching Suicide Squad because you're a Batman fan.  You might enjoy the ride, but you're left sitting in an empty theatre wondering what the hell happened to all the Joker footage.

You are going to enjoy this film very much.  I would say Billie is on screen 99% of the film.  I can think of only 1 scene he was not in and that one was very short.  Ordinary World and Like Sunday Like Rain are very, very different films.  They are both good in their own right, but don't go into this film expecting some kind of social commentary.  The film is very formulaic, it is a story that you have seen 1,000 times before.  But, it is done in a fun, somewhat unique way.   It is definately a film you can watch with anyone.  If I had to pick a film that was similar I would go with Mr. Mom with Michael Keaton.

I can't wait to see it again.

I'm looking forward to the movie.  Maybe I'll change my mind after I see 'Control the World'.  The all seeing eye is throughout the whole BangBang lyrics video.  Oh, I meant 'Ordinary World'.
