Hopefully but Im not expecting much. im sitting in coach and it's supposed to storm in NYC. Thankfully my flights only an hour and a half.

How was security at your airport? my father flew to Florida yesterday and said O'hare was packed with dogs and the security process took a lot longer than normal. I wonder what the reason for that was.

also for you New Yorkers... Anybody know the best way to get from Laguardia to the financial district? The place Im staying at says I should take the airport shuttle to grand central station and then just take the subway down.

Security was pretty normal, but I did fly out of a relatively small town. I flew out of Lexington and had a layover in Detroit. Both airports were surprisingly calm. I'm no New Yorker, but I flew into La Guardia as well; I would take the shuttle unless you're in a rush. It's super cheap compared to a cab. You can get a week Metrocard for around $20 and swipe it as many times as you want over the course of a week. It works on subways and buses. Otherwise, it's $2.75 per ride. My mom decided that we should take a cab instead last night and it ended up being around $72 and we only saved about ten minutes.

I don't know about a shuttle (granted I've never flown to or from LaGuarida, but I see what you mean about a shuttle, and it would be your best bet if you don't want to fear missing your stop whilst on an MTA bus:

"NYC Airporter

Departure roughly every 30 minutes - Port Authority Bus Terminal, Grand Central Station and Penn Station. Fare is $13. Purchase tickets online atwww.NYCAirporter.com. For more information, call (718) 777-5111."

I think this is what you mean. And from there, the subway is your best bet at $2.75/ride. Granted, 13 bucks is a decent price actually.

As I said in the Tweets thread, it may just be a coincidence or a wind up. Jeff does so desperately seek attention (and followers).

If anybody is in town before 10 tonight or is staying Sunday (or even longer), my mom got conned into buying two comedy club tickets for $30 and doesn't actually want them; id meet up with somebody and sell them for $20, maybe less. They are valid for any show, any day of the week. Sun-Th 8 pm and 10:15, Friday 8 and 10, Saturday 5, 8, 10, and 11:30

The people next to me on the flight to Dublin were so drunk by the time they got on the plane they thought it would be a good idea to buy  me 8 drinks and then gave me €20

So I called Spring Studios today and asked where exactly one lines up tomorrow.
I believe the person at the studio said that it'd probably be the lobby, but that she does not necessarily know (or something along those lines).

And I didn't ask about the red carpet cause she specifically said that she worked for the venue, not the film festival.

If he is going to play 6-8 songs, I can't imagine that there are 6-8 songs from Geezer that are all worth playing, especially after we have just watched the film. Obviously he'll play whatever the main ones are, but I can't imagine him doing 8 songs from the film. idk tho but I'm excited :runaround:

If I recall correctly, I think he only wrote 2 or 3 new songs for the film, so I imagine he'll play those, but the rest of the set will definitely be other things.

Yeah, this is a lesson a lot of people learn the hard way. Subway >>>>>>>>>> cabs.
