Im really surprised its only $24. Weren't we expecting $40 at some point?

This is because the movie was listed as a special screening and those are $40, but because it's on the weekend, all  weekend screenings are $20.

Not exactly sure about the time they go on sale, but I may call tomorrow (Sunday) to find out.

Okay so I figure nobody knows all the answers, but New Yorkers/northerners like JJ may know better than me; are we 100% sure that the performance is included in the movie ticket because I was looking at TriBeCa's website and I noticed that the festival passes included "access to music events and live performances." So, I just wanted to make sure that I don't have to have one of those passes to see the performance afterwards; I don't have that kind of money haha. Also, if I manage to get tickets, I'm not sure whether to sit in the front or back because sitting in front for the movie would suck but I want to be up front for the performance for sure. So many decisions!

I had a little extra concern due to such a low ticket price so I shot them an email and this was their response

"Hello and thank you for contacting Tribeca Film Festival Box Office. The performance afterwards is included in the price of the ticket.

Hello and thank you for your interest in Tribeca Film Festival. Tickets go on sale March 29th at 11AM EST. You can purchase by phone, online or in person."

When I called, they did say 11am.
But because it's now DST, seeing all the EST has me worried and what not (I'm probably just nitpicking and all but still).
Just... 11, yes?

It's 11 if you are in the Eastern time zone for example 11 in New York is equal to 10 in Chicago or 8 am in California

NY is currently on DST time, technically.  I think people, myself included just always say EST because people recognize Eastern time.

Alright, just making sure about that cause I know people don't usual sat EDT , or even mention the time zone so...

Yeah, NY time is my thing. I was just wondering if Daylights Savings Time was being taken into account or not :)

Good luck to those of us trying for tickets tomorrow!!!:D

I have the page bookmarked to buy the tickets online. Does anybody think it would be a better idea to try and call? I feel like the lines will be pretty busy!

Ask someone to either help you call in or online.

NOTICE: Ticket cost has gone up to $44.10 I would assume because they are now expecting a larger audience than they were originally expecting.

When I had originally called, they told me $44.  I was surprised to see $23.50.  I think that they put the wrong price on and realized it with the tickets going on sale.

What are the chances there could be a secret show that weekend?

I don't know if I'll actually be able to go to the screening, but I mean...

Should I buy tickets to go back to NYC that weekend or...

I was thinking about that! If there is one, how does one find out about a secret show???

Husband thinks Billie might spring a new song out at his Geezer gig...

I'm getting so nervous!
