Wow. Thanks adeline.

thats coming from the pressing plant.. I´m sure that wasnt planned at all, it just came out like that! Like the teal Minority 7" !

So just best of luck? Or hope someone will sell them unsealed on eBay.

yeah you have to try your luck.. I'll do it that way.. cause that isnt my pic! Maybe I end up with multiple dark lime green ones but I tried.. I still can sell them then :)

Mine is the dark varient, I just opened it now. Chris, why do you open yours instead of keeping them sealed? I feel guilty when I open things, I need some reassurance :P

One good reason for opening them, now at least, is to check what color they are. How would you know if you had the dark or light if you didn't check?

to be honest I didn't really care. I knew it was Lime, and that was good enough for me. For a while I wasn't even sure what color my demolicious was cause that's still sealed, but it can slide out in the packaging, so that's how I know. I don't plan on opening it though

How are you going to play them if you can't open them?

Plus sometimes it is nice to see what the records actually look like. I have a few which have very cool patterns (eg: http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/49/80/84/4980847dc7f9402588a78be68400bd4f.jpg)

Colored vinyls are more for collecting than playing, as they typically don't have as strong of a sound quality as the black vinyls. For me at least, both are Collectibles only. I have my cd's for listening to.

That used to be true not anymore the sound quality of colored vinyl and black vinyl are the same nowadays

Ears the HT pressings of the trilogy sounds exactly the same as the black pressings

Of course it's all subject just like those who claim flac sounds better than a 320kbs mp3 etc

You wouldn't be able to hear a difference between 320kb/s mp3 and flac unless you had really good speakers and you were playing it loud

I co-own a recording studio trust me I have excellent speakers

Not that much difference sound wise (as far as if source came from the same yeah a mp3 that was re encoded to 320 wont sound good)
