Mr. Shluffy
Wow this sounds fantastic. I really like State of Shock. Sex Drugs and Violence lacking the harmonies is kind of a bummer, but overall I am loving the sound of this.

Neon Light
I love the sound of Ashley, but I'm glad they added the bridge and the second verse in the studio version.

ThranaM
Why the fuck isn't DrB here? I wanna hear the alternative ending like in Cuatro.. :/
Hermione
And by the way, I love their comments like 'yeah' or 'awesome' at the end of the songs Aww that's great! Really can't wait to listen to it now (have it but just can't yet). That's why they shouldn't have told anyone though. They should've released only their best material and acted like the rest didn't exist (or kept working on it until it was up to standard). Instead of going for numbers, they should have gone for quality and only released the songs that they thought were the most absolutely amazing things they'd ever come up with. It's what any artist should do (musical or otherwise). Maybe that's what they did? They did write 60+ songs and get it down to 37, and worked on them/changed them, and they wouldn't have released them all if they didn't think they were up to standard and sounding as good as possible. Just because some of us don't think they're that good it doesn't mean the band didn't. Why the fuck isn't DrB here? I wanna hear the alternative ending like in Cuatro.. :/ There probably just wasn't a good enough/different enough demo version of it. Some of the coolest songs might not've had the coolest demos. Martyn
Wasn't expecting much from this but as others have said wow this is so good. Only heard six tracks so far though but everything about these is way better.By the way, there isn't a booklet, it's just this They really went all out on that text haha. ThranaM
To be honest, Acoustic version of Stay The Night was "shit". Also I think that ALBNT, 99 Rev and Oh Love was the best ones on this album
JOE THE X-KID
I honestly can't comprehend why they recorded the trilogy like they did. Listen to 99 revolutions demo, now that has fucking balls!
Hermione
Isn't it always going to sound rawer/more powerful/cooler when you listen to a demo instead of a finished song though? I think there'd be the same effect if you listened to demos of any of their albums, just because you're used to hearing it more polished and you suddenly hear everything sounding more raw so it sounds cooler in comparison (bit like when you hear a live version). Doesn't necessarily mean it's the right sound for the album though.

I think I've got the Let Yourself Go breakdown: I wanna live with normal people Wanna breath with normal people Wanna work with normal people Wanna die with the scene and I gotta let it go Not 100% on the end of the last line, but yeah. Thats so much better than "always fuck fucking with my head now"

Yeah could be true that some sound better or have certain bits that sound better (haven't actually heard it yet ). But I do think hearing a demo version of a song after already hearing a more polished version has that effect in general. If they'd just released the whole thing in demo quality so we weren't comparing it to more polished versions I don't know if it would've sounded as impressive. SumDay
So yeha Billie said that their next record is going to sound "live". I guess Demolicious has that sound. So I'm fucking pumped for the next record I know it will take its time 'till it's released but fuck it, I'm ready haha. Just like some people mentioned it before, this record could be easily released for "real" and I would buy the shit out of it. You can hear the fun they had while recording the songs; all these pick-slides and just messing around with the guitar is awesome, that needs to be on their next "real" record. This is the Green Day everyone wants .. I think; not perfectly produced but perfect songs and fun while recording it.

Ryder556
Only song that was a let down was acoustic stay the night. I'm not sure if I like his voice or not? I imagined it sounding sort of like time of your life live, with the energy and emotion I guess. Just taking a shot in the dark here, but I think Stay The Night is from December when Billie was messing around and uploaded parts of acoustic versions Scattered and Missing You to Instagram. You can really hear the similarities between the songs in his voice. But on May 15th Billie is playing at an Acoustic benefit concert. So that "full of energy" performance might happen. You can really hear the similarities between the songs in his voice. He messes up some of the lyrics though (good night instead of goodbye). Then again, he does that now to plenty of songs, so that doesn't prove anything.
