I'm gonna make a total guess and say that there's gonna be 24 songs, 12 on each disc. The first 12 will all be demos of already released songs. The other 12 will be unreleased tracks for C&V, 21CB, and the trilogy.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT YES. :runaround: I'm driving to the nearest record store that's selling it the day it comes out. The name is awesome, too.
I'm hoping it's unreleased stuff, but if it's not, I'd still buy it for collecting purposes.

OR we get something that looks like this:

1. Oh Love (Live on Good Morning America)
2. Oh Love (Live in Japan)
3. Oh Love (Live in Reading Festival)
4. Oh Love (Original demo version)
5. Oh Love (Tiki Bar version)
6. Oh Life (Original version of Oh Love)
7. Oh Death (B-side to Oh Love, same lyrics but with "love" replaced with "death", experimental track)
8. Oh Love (instrumental version)

O.M.G.

I hope we'll have Olivia and DreamCatcher on it.

Two fucking wonderful songs,it is a shame we dont have a studio version.

shouldn't we make sure its actually happening first?

I guess we'll find out soon enough. I figure if we post about it, and it's not happening, we'll get an email telling us soon enough. Just seemed silly not to present the information we have since more than one place is talking about it.

I really hope they make some new merch to go with the new album!! So exciting :)

I doubt it will be that big or really heavily promoted or anything. This has always been a much more low-key thing. They release something special (though this is the biggest thing they've ever done) just to help support record stores. Just putting something out is usually enough attention for these things to sell out.

What have they put out in the past for this?

A cover of Husker Du, and I'm pretty sure they've done something else. But that was the only one Jack (gda news editor) remembered when i asked.

So is it just going to be on Vinyl or will it be on CD as well?

Record Store Day stuff is exclusively on vinyl, as far as I know.

1. Oh Love (Live on Good Morning America)

2. Oh Love (Live in Japan)

3. Oh Love (Live in Reading Festival)

4. Oh Love (Original demo version)

5. Oh Love (Tiki Bar version)

Didn't know that. Thanks. (and thank Jack too!)

I feel like I should post a picture of mine. I found it in a record store on the boardwalk.

They also released the "Know Your Enemy" 7'' on RSD in 2009

Was it a special color or anything? What was on the B-side?

I'd still buy it.

Would be hilarious to see how many desperate folks would do the same as you  I would not, but I would definitely sample Oh Death.

Hmmm, well, that could be a problem for me as I don't own a turntable anymore. :(

No, just the regular one. But it was released to support RSD

If they're actual new demos, I doubt they'd stay on vinyl for very long. People will be uploading those so damn fast. That's what I'm hoping anyway, because I don't have a turntable either.
