What actually are vocal filters? Is that like delay and reverb or mor like pitch correction etc?

I would assume it's pitch correction cuz, let's be real, I love the man but have you heard his pitch live?

Reverb...

What is reverb? I know I saw before somewhere on here that he uses pitch correction but I'm not sure what reverb is or what it does

In a nutshell: it's removing the sound and keeping its echo.

What Iva said

Pretty much everyone will have a different opinion since none of us have been in the studio with them

Im sure some parts of songs does have pitch correction on them but they wouldnt use it for all parts

it sounds alot like reverb when listening to the isolated vocal tracks of AI and onwards

I will say this they dont use autotune (since alot habe said autotune)

This seems promising. Especially with the cover art, which is so incredible I made it my phone background. I do however hope they didn't ruin these song by overly dookiefying or insomniackin them haha. But in all seriousness tho, based on the song choices it may give us at least a little better idea of what cigarettes and valentines sounded like, which has been described as Warning/Insomniac/AI sound all thrown together into one album.

Oh no, definitely not autotune, that has its own distinct sound and I would probably cry if Green Day used it

The instruments are perfect IMO, it's just the vocal filters ruin them.

you know there's an actual cd release of "Radio Daze" called "On the radio"

I know but it's still not official

Expecting a 1995-2003 era level of production. Probably not lookout days. Again think it could have more of a sound they had around the early 2000's. Aggressive warning, shenanigans, AI, 21CB type trilogy songs seem to be on the tracklist.

The t pain level of autotune is horrifying

But when autotune is used at a normal setting you'd never know it was being used...

Just noticed that in the otherwise flawless artwork Billie's silhouette is way too tall and long legged

I might be a complete bell-end here, but what silhouette?

I kinda hope the demos have that slight voice effect on, that you can hear on the Kill the dj demo in Cuatro

Actually, once you've heard enough Autotuned songs, you can start to tell where it is used (if you listen).

Ok...

Test

Can you name the Smashing Pumpkins song on Zietgiest that uses autotune?

*Ahemmmm *..... * Awesome As Fuck *

Can you explain how the vocals on AAF is on CELL PHONE videos from the same shows?

When there's an image of a person where you can only see the shape/outline of them and not any other features (often so it kind of looks like a shadow), that's a silhouette. There's the silhouettes of the band members in the artwork, below the track listing.

Anyway....

So according to the press release on Green Day’s site:

In addition to the 18 demos, Demolicious includes a previously unreleased track, "State of Shock," and an acoustic version of "Stay The Night" from Green Day ¡Uno!.

Could the full album art (with all the typos) be a draft and the setlist incomplete, or is the press release just lying? It seems to imply there will be 20 tracks in total.... Hmmm....
