WhiteTim
I don't know tech stuff either - but if that is so easy for you to say maybe that is truly was the sound they wanted & realize now it was a mistake - just saying. Im not complaining I like the trilogy and dont have complaints about the production I was just pointing out the trilogy wasnt over produced... Certified Nimrod
Would it make sense to do some little home style recordings like you're messing around and call them demos? I do not know. I don't think that would make sense.

AngelBlue_
What if this isn't really demos. Remember when they were in the studio and Billie was working on some songs? Maybe this is just rerecorded songs that haw a rawer feel to them. Know what I mean? Wasn't just Billie in the studio? ? I think Mike or Tre were somewhere in the world then

iRun
It wouldn't make sense to call updated versions "demos." Idk I was just throwing shit to the wind.

11Greendayfan
I am so excited for this! I personally love the trilogy, so I am excited to see what these songs sound like. State of Shock should be amazing!
DookieLukie
Not sure why everyone is so optimistic of State of Shock. All we have is a grainy preview that is 99% static. I'm excited to hear it but it seems everyone has much bigger expectations of it with nothing to back that up.

Fuzz
There's really nothing to say they're even slightly alike just both names happen to have bomb in them. Like Deadbeat Holiday and Holiday it doesn't mean they have much relation. But I'd love to hear Clusterbomb one day. Well I know they're the same song, though I'm sure changed, because in Heart Like a Hand Grenade there's a scene showing Billie working on the lyrics to Clusterbomb, then he crosses out title on the page and writes "Letterbomb". After listening to it quite a bit over the last few weeks, I've noticed the melody, if that's what you want to call it. It's catchy, and sounds sort of like Scumbag imo. And there's a guitar cover somewhere on youtube, as well.
Spoopy Doo
Wait, Baby Eyes and Angel Blue demos!? That almost makes up for no Lazy Bones/Wild One/Brutal Love/Wow! That's Loud demos! for me anyway Plus it didn't even make the trilogy, so that says something. Neither did Dream Catcher.
Dirntbag
Am I the only one who thinks the album art is kinda ugly? I wish they had more artwork like Dookie, so that their merch was lighter and nicer.
Annie, get your gun
Just found out about the tracklist + artwork. STRAY HEAAAAAAAARRRRRTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OmgOmgOmg I'm desperate for having it on my hands already #cassette??? That would be really cool! Even though I won't be able to listen to it anymore, it would be great to have it. Why 2 Stay The Night? Don't get me wrong, I love it... but why not 2 Stray Heart instead? Or Wild One. WAIT. There's no Wild One!!!!! Or Lazy Bones!! Whaaaat? Rejected songs doesn't mean bad songs. That being said, the trilogy was a ton of songs, so you do gotta wonder why just a few didn't make the cut over some others... Sappy
Shenanigans is one of my favorite albums, sometimes I'd rather take the rejected songs than the stuff that made the album lol. they have to make another shenanigans album after the next real album or maybe after the one after that, too many b-sides and unreleased songs from AI 21st CBD and the 20 something songs that weren't released on the Trilogy! State of Shock must be considered the best out of the rejects if they put it on it! says a lot kicking out Dream Catcher.. oh, and what about It's Alright?! it was at one point on the board to be on Tre I believe? so if it was that close to being released, they can't just not let us hear it!!! Stefano Bras
I think we're quite ignoring the fact that there's an ACOUSTIC version of STAY THE NIGHT. I just think about Stay the Night at the Echoplex on Cuatro! and then just think.... my god, this song on acoustic should be beautiful.
